Great tour! - Had a great experience on this tour! The food was very good, the service was great and the tour was nice. The ladies taking care of us were very attentive without being in our faces. They made sure we had everything we needed, offered to take pictures of us to commemorate our trip. Great experience overall!

Quintessentially English bus tour! - Such a perfect English treat. We booked this to celebrate a special achievement. We know London well but enjoyed seeing the sights from the top deck. Lovely fresh sandwiches, delicious cakes and home made warm scones with clotted cream and jam.

Birthday celebration - Our Golden tours afternoon tea tour was great from booking through to disembarking. They were very helpful and kept in touch before hand with details etc. Staff on board, Ivan & Ameen were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they even sang happy birthday to my friend which made her day. The afternoon tea itself was divine, and we love our souvenir coffee/tea cups. All in all it was worth every penny.

Wonderful!!! - Great food, helpful people running the tour, only thing that would have made it better is more recorded dialogue regarding the sites around.

A must do when visiting London - Really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone whom wants to do something different when visiting London. Food was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. They don’t tell you at the start but you can ask for a box to take home anything that you don’t eat on the Bus. A few things that could be improved, though: We were informed on our ticket to wait at Bus stop 1, but were later told our bus was at bus stop 2, and we were at the wrong stop. The Bus needs a good, deep clean inside, especially upstairs, where the bunting and some flowers have been removed, or are missing and thus have left a sticky residue. The food is already on your table when you enter the Bus. It wasn’t made clear when you could start eating the food, so 30 Minutes into the journey, nobody had eaten anything. There was a pot of jam and some cream on the plate, which was for the warm scones they served, but again nobody was made aware that warm scones were being bought separately to the table about 30 minutes into the journey. Normally, you would eat your sandwiches before your scone. You should tell people when they can start eating the sandwiches and let them know that warm scones will be given out later. Also I think the scones should have been put on a plate on the cake stand rather than the plate you are eating from. The music being played was very loud and this made it difficult to hear what the staff were saying. Some quiet, peaceful background music would be better, as the music being played was not to everybody’s taste. The historical buildings were pointed out by pre-recorded audio, and sometimes this would be something simple like “on the left is...”, not all sites were pointed out. It would be better if staff took the microphone and pointed out the sites, adding some interesting facts.

London landmarks and tea - Booked this as a treat for family, booked the premium upper deck seats to ensure we got the front views. There were two teenage children with us and 2 adults. We also had the halal option. The kids had a separate menu to the adults, and would have preferred what we had. The chicken wraps had too much dressing/mayonnaise and had seeped through. Other than that it was an amazing experience, we all had a lovely time, soaking in the atmosphere, music, and the views. I made a couple of changes to the booking and the customer service team were very helpful and got us sorted. You also get a souvenir cup to take with you. It was a lovely family day out with some lovely staff. Me and sister returning at Christmas without the kids 😂

Poor “tour” and food! - The food was poor quality and there was no “tour”! We drove around listening to pop music and only occasionally when we drove by an historic landmark did a little blurb about the landmark play. Several times the little blurb played after we passed the landmark, so we missed it! We paid for tea and a tour but received substandard food and pop music. Definitely NOT worth the cost we paid!
