As pet-friendly as possible - The crew was very friendly and competent, the Animals really mattered to them. We booked the combined whale and dolphin tour as a private tour. In total we were about 4 hours out, first about an hour far out to sea off Port Louis, where we saw a sperm whale bull. Unfortunately, there were some other boats that forbiddenly let their guests into the water for the whale. That seemed to bother in a lot, so he's always gone into hiding. As soon as he was back up all the boats raced and the game started all over again. As a result, it had somewhat the aspect of a drive hunt. Our boat held back as best it could. We then went back south and found dolphins, with whom you were also allowed to snorkel, but they also felt rather stressed by it, so we looked from the boat, again our boat was rather reserved. In the end we are still anchored in a dreamlike place for snorkeling. Overall, you have to question whether you would like to do such a tour in principle, because the animals are affected by the amount of boats and People are clearly being harassed. If you want to do it, you'd like to do it with this company

Happy to see dolphines very closed - It was a wonderful boat experience. Aby und Assis took uns from the beach of our hotel and took us in a very good places to see dolphines. We saw many dolphines and sometimes very closed. The children enjoyed it. The place for snorkeling was also very good choosen. It was easy also for a 8 year old to see a lot colored fishes. The water was not very deep and we could swim over the corals.

Fantastic experience with great crew - We did a private boat trip with bbq. We had a great experience with DolSwim the crew were very informative and respectful to the animals. They were really patient, unlike some other boats around, and we were lucky enough to see Whales as well as dolphins. The BBQ on the boat was fantastic with loads of well cooked food. Communication prior to our trip was quick and very helpful.

Great. - It was fantastic. We have seen both humpback and sperm whales. Besides, there were so many dolphins. Bottlenose, Spinners, Spotted Dolphins. A great experience. We swam with you. Big thanks to Pascale and Franko, who were great guides and acted with a lot of care.👍🫶🏻

Respectful excursion 🐬 - We really enjoyed our excursion with Clovis and his sidekick (sorry, we forgot his first name 😅). The meeting point is easy to access; arrive a little early to be sure of finding a place because the pier is located at the end of a street. The appointment time is respected and the information is clear. The boarding briefing is done in several languages if necessary. Points on safety on board, sperm whale watching, swimming with dolphins and snorkeling. Everything is done to respect marine mammals and the marine environment as much as possible: a law prohibits swimming with sperm whales (so you won't be able to do it, even if you bribe the captain 😉). The crew is attentive to our questions and always looking to help us spot sperm whales and dolphins. Special mention for snorkeling at the end of the excursion: magnificent seabed with lots of different fish! We absolutely LOVED our excursion with Dolswim! Thank you 🤩

Amazing experience - Conrad and our awesome driver and chef were wonderful. They worked so hard to make sure we had the best experience. We got SO lucky and saw at least 8 sperm whale. They were amazing. We were able to jump in with a beautiful pod of dolphins for a swim. Our skippers checked in with us before moving onto the next thing on the itinerary to make sure we didn’t want more time with any one thing. We ended our trip with a swim in beautiful blue water while our excellent chef cooked us a fantastic lunch. We were truly impressed with this cruise, our crew, and our experience. Would absolutely recommend them for an excellent trip.

Great experience. The... - Great experience. The skippers were knowledgeable but very hands off. Did not get in the water to assist anyone at all. Did not provide towels, bring your own. Be aware that there is no place to change into or out of your wet swim suit. There does not seem to be a office on site at all. We had our own boat which was great. Saw whales right away and dolphins too!

Whale watching - We had a great tour with Dolswim. We started at 7am and went out to find dolphins and then further out in the hope of finding Sperm whales. The boat staff knew exactly where to take us and we saw a pod of 6. They were very ethical and mindful of the fact that these beautiful mammals should not have humans trying to touch them. We witnessed other boats allowing some disgraceful behaviour. Our boat kept a respectful distance and we were rewarded with an hour of the whales close to our boat. We had an incredible time and I was very impressed with this company.

Excellent trip - This trip was certainly one of the highlights of our holidays in Mauritius. It was amazing to see the sperm whales that close. But even more impressive was the swimming with the dolphins! The care and professional behaviour of the dolswim team (Steven and Roberto) gave us the good feeling to not too much affect the animals, expecially compared to some other boats around. It was definitely worth to book this trip as private tour. So we had enough time to enjoy the views and to get great pictures. Thanks for this nice day!
