Must Do Hike - This was my husband and my first trip to the Canyon. We went with a friend who had been before but only viewed it from the top. We wanted to experience the Canyon by hiking down into it. This tour was perfect for so many reasons. First, although we are regular walkers we are not experienced hikers. With the helpful tips from our guide Kevin we were able to successfully hike 2 miles down into the Canyon and back up again. Second, as advertised Jon provided everything needed to have a successful hike- walking sticks, backpacks filled with more snacks than needed, water, frozen Gatorade, back packs, Jon’s famous and delicious chicken wrap, and even headlamps which we did not use because we made it back to the top before full dark. Third, our guide Kevin was very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging the entire trip. He also took fabulous photos of us! So happy we picked this tour. Memories of a lifetime were made.

Must do experience - Our guide was the best! She made the best wraps, had the greatest stories and we let very safe with her!

Come for the views, stay for the exercise - Gorgeous views, and encouraging guides (Kevin and Christie) made this stunningly fun day. Sure, it was strenuous but it was worth every ounce of sweat.

John was an amazing tour... - John was an amazing tour guide, he was very prepared for everything we needed or may have needed. We went as a family of four and it was memorable and a highlight for all of us. John showed us all the amazing view points of the canyon and took pictures that we love and can look back on forever! I would highly recommend this to anyone/any age. We had the most amazing time!

Fantastic! - Jon was incredibly prepared, entertaining, professional, and encouraging. He is a genuinely good person and offered water to non-group members who were struggling. My teens said this hike was their favorite part of our trip. Climbing out of the canyon at sunset and moonrise will stay with us all forever.

Awesome experience - Entire trio was awesome. Jon was very knowledgeable and patient. His guidance provided a safe, fun, and memorable experience that will always associate with the grand canyon.

Top Ten Day - WOW...I can't believe it's been one week since we hiked the Grand Canyon with our two grown daughters. To see the Grand Canyon from the Rim is an awe inspiring view, BUT to actually hike down into its majestic vastness and truly see its beauty, is a once in a lifetime memory or for me, it was addressing my fear of heights....UGH... I can not find the words to express how SAFE I felt with Jon. His experience, guidance AND ability to read the situation made the day. Providing all the tools needed for a successful and enjoyable hike (we are novices) has spawned a new desire to "get out there and HIKE." We also witnessed Jon's compassion as a really decent human being. He offered water/hydration to fellow hikers on the trail who were looking a bit 'stressed'. This hike is hard work and not being prepared can lead to serous consequences. Thank goodness we were able to enjoy this family memory with a true profession. The photos we were able to get during our trip down (and up) are not only proof we enjoyed ourselves, but I have our Christmas card ready to go:). Unforgettable Experience - Neither my husband nor myself had ever visited the Grand Canyon before we booked a day hike with Only Grand Canyon. From the start, we knew we were in good hands. In the weeks before our hike, Jon enthusiastically kept us informed on details, answering all of our questions along the way. On hike day, Kevin kept us safe, well-hydrated and fed, took many photos for us, pointed out big-horn sheep and other wildlife, shared wonderful canyon stories ... and best of all, shared in our awe of this majestic place. As seniors, we moved a bit slower than other hikers along the trail. But Kevin was patient and always encouraging. We felt very proud of ourselves physically, as I know I worked pretty hard coming back up! But this trip is about so much more than that sense of accomplishment. It is the chance to enjoy nature at its stunning best with qualified professionals who love it too.

Perfect day trip!!! - What an amazing experience! We were provided with hiking poles, backpacks, more snacks than we could ever possibly eat, plenty of water, Gatorade and lunch! Kevin was our guide. He was FABULOUS! He shared many interesting facts about the canyon. We were able to go at our own pace. Everything about the day was absolutely perfect. The views of the Grand Canyon were breathtaking. Also, the owner, Jon, checked in with us several times before our hike. He also shared other places we should see while in Arizona. We would highly recommend this hiking adventure!

Grand Canyon Hike - We had a fabulous time on the hike into the Grand Canyon. The views were fantastic below the rim. Jon made a great lunch and shared a wealth of information about the area and the canyon. We would highly recommend this tour.
