Additional Information

Explore the Albaicin district on a 90-minute sunset segway trip. It’s an excellent method for covering a large area with an experienced local guide. Owing to its unique geographical position, Granada provides scenic routes. The city is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, so the roads rise and fall, making the segway likely the most convenient mode of transportation. The tour’s primary aim is to take you to the San Nicholas viewpoint at the most beautiful time of day - sunset.

Travel past Plaza Nueva, Fuente del Toro, Paseo de los Tristes, ancient gypsy caves up to the Albaicin viewpoints. It’s situated on a large hill and is renowned for its stunning views of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada mountains.

Meander through the enchanting streets, pass the Mosque of Granada, and snap photos at one of the most popular lookout points - San Nicholas square. At sunset, this location takes on a magical quality and draws poets, writers, and hippies from around the world.

Excellent! - This was our first time using Segways, and now I want one. Simon was our guide, and he was fabulous! We had already seen some of the area, so he customized the route to show us things we hadn't seen and little hidden gems we would never have found on our own. He was friendly, funny, and a joy to spend time with. Ask for Simon!

Great Segway tour through Granada - Our first time on a Segway, what an experience! Victor took his time for the first instructions and than on our way. The 2 hour tour was really great. First going to a viewing point at the foot of Alhambra with a view on Sacromonte and Albayzin to get a good understanding of the area. Than driving through both districts. The stop at Al Aire, an artesian shop with a craftsman that makes the nicest fine art was very nice. A great place for the best souvenirs. Al together we have had a fantastic time. Thanks a lot Victor. We will definitely come back next time we are in Granada.

Fantastic way to see the city <3 - Did the sunset tour yesterday with the great George (Georgiy) who was an excellent segway teacher and tour guide. Great way to see the city, especially a hilly one like this! We were treated to a breathtaking view of the Alhambra just as the sun was setting. Learned lots of interesting things about the beautiful city of Granada. Would highly recommend!

Segway perfect! - Great tour! Our guide was patient and helpful with our group of 3 first time Segway riders. In no time we were cruising the back streets and learning more about Granada. Segway is a great way to get around. They're quite easy to learn to ride, and fun. Book it!

Amazing way to tour Albaicin! - This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Granada. It really is the kind of tour you should take on your first day in Granada, to get a good sense of the bearings without too much effort. Albaicin is a very hilly area, so getting around on foot can be quite exhausting, especially as all the best viewpoints are pretty high up on the hill. The Segway was an amazing way to effortlessly zip around and see all the sights. We took this tour on our second day, and we were amazed at how fast we could get to places that had taken us so much effort to get to the day before. Moreover, our guide and instructor, George, was such a chill and awesome dude. We had booked a sunset tour, but then missed our afternoon train to Granada. He was super understanding and reassuring when we called to see if we could reschedule the tour. When we met him in person, he was oozing positive energy. He's the kind of guy that you meet once and you immediately know you want to be friends with him. Not only was he a great guide, telling us all the history and stories about Albaicin along our ride, but he also gave us great parting tips about Granada after we left. As for the Segways, it was our first time riding them, so we took a crash course that had us up and running in no time. If I recall correctly, the tour lasted exactly 90 minutes, and did not include the time which we spent learning to ride, which was great, and kind of unexpected. Learning to ride was much easier than I had anticipated, and the ride was much smoother than I expected as well. The section of road they have you practice on is kind of intimidating, as it's on a slope, but rest assured that it is easier than it looks, and the instructors are going to take good care of you. As for the ride itselt, if you've had experience riding Lime or Bird scooters, you probably won't be unfamiliar with the discomfort of riding on cobblestone roads. Grananda, and Albaicin in particular, is full of cobblestone, so I was mildly concerned. However, on the Segways the ride is as smooth as can be! Truly recommend this tour, and George!

Great fun - George is a knowledgeable, friendly and all round excellent guide and Segway teacher. Segway is the best way to see beautiful Granada. Don’t be put off by the thought that a Segway is a difficult thing to ride, if you have ridden a bicycle, then you can ride this. My son and I took in the sights of the city, then headed up into the mountains to watch the sun set over the Alhambra. A truely incredible experience. Thanks George!
