- Sierra Nevada - We depart in our comfortable 8-seater vehicle towards the Sierra Nevada natural reserve, embarking on a journey that will last a little over 3 hours, with multiple pauses en route to savor the splendor of the park’s northern aspect. (Note that post-pandemic safety measures have led to a reduction in group sizes to a maximum of 6 individuals).
We will explore various notable sites within the communities of Monachil and Guejar Sierra.
Our destination is the highest accessible point by car at 2,500 meters above sea level, a popular area for acquainting oneself with the lofty summits of the Sierra Nevada. This spot serves as an ideal launchpad for treks and, during the winter months, offers a chance to revel in the snow without the need to visit the ski resort.
The excursion includes a collection of photographs snapped by our guide, who is equipped with a professional-grade camera.

Great and intriguing experience! - If you ever thought of doing something extraordinary during your stay in Granada, please do not hesitate to book the tour with Julio to Sierra Nevada! I have learnt a lot from Julio and had a great and intriguing experience! Seeing the blue lake is just unforgettable! Highly recommend! I will definitely come back soon!

Absolutely fantastic - We had a truly amazing time this afternoon doing this. Can totally recommend. We were picked up in Granada and then taken up the mountain up to Sierra Nevada. We were given snow shoes and hiked up the mountain and then back down again. We were never rushed and the guide (Julio) allowed us to stop and take photographs as much as we liked. 10/10.

Sliding on the snow - It was great to enjoy the beautiful landscapes in the Sierra Nevada and to be able to enjoy the slopes. Julio was very accommodating with our family of 4, and gave us choices of what to do. We chose the slopes on sleds. It is a 4 hour tour. 50 minutes going up and 50 coming down and the rest you do the activity. We had to take a train early afternoon and Julio monitored the time closely. Julio also took pictures of us with a good quality camera and sent them to us afterwards. This trip is a great choice as a family. A lot of fun.

Spectacular trip into Spain’s highest mountains - Our trip to the Sierra Nevada was very memorable thanks to Julio’s interesting facts and beautiful photographs. The views from the top of the mountain is really spectacular, especially with the snow covering everything in white. This trip is very good value for money and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Worth the $! - Our guide, Julio was so nice and friendly. His English was fine. It was a long trip, at least 4 hours. The hike was about 4.5 miles and though not treacherous, it was challenging in parts and that was great! We’re athletic so we would not have minded even more hills. The wind would be a factor on other days, but our temps were perfect late summer. Bring a windbreaker for sure! And use the poles he offers...both of them! In early fall, the colors and terrain aren’t very vibrant in Sierra Nevada. But we enjoyed beautiful vistas!
