A tour to recommend - The guide had a lot knowledge of the mountain and surrounding area. The tour was adapted to our request as we were the only two persons at the tour. The guide came with nice alternatives and suggestions to fit our interests in the beginning of the tour. We can really recommend it. Fantastic views over the mountain.

Hiking Sierra Nevada - Carlos was a great guide. He was knowledgeable about the history of the area and knew the local trails well. The hike was challenging at times, gaining an altitude of almost 1000 m

Pepe Tours day trip to Granada from Roquetas de Mar 13th June 2023 - Fantastic trip to Granada from Roquetas de Mar with super knowledgeable driver/guide (Christian). Cost was 79 euros, worth every cent. The journey takes about 2 hours via Sierra Nevada with a short comfort/coffee break. Air-conditioned mini bus, all english commentary. We spent the morning at the Alhambra & got to see Nasrid places, alcazaba, Charles V Palace & Generalife gardens. Jet2 did a similar trip from our hotel but the Sunday trip had been cancelled due to low numbers and the Thursday trip wasn't guaranteed for same reason (that was 80 euros & didn't include as much. Then in the afternoon we were dropped in Granada city centre to explore for 2 hours. It would be a difficult trip for anyone with mobility issues but probably the best day trip I've ever done

Highly Recommended! - This is a great day out of the city! You’ll learn so much about the area; including the geography, culture, agriculture, etc. and get some excellent exercise with impressive views of the mountains all around you. Our driver was Josè and he was extremely friendly, fun and informative. He doesn’t rush you, and always makes sure you’re comfortable and happy. On top of it all, we ate lunch at a beautiful restaurant that we never would have gone to without this trip and Jose. Be sure to follow their advice on what to bring and you’ll love your time on this tour!

What a hike!!! Ask for Jose “The Goat”! - What an amazing hike. Jose, a.k.a., the goat, was a fantastic guide. We were the only two that showed up so it was a private tour. We had a blast and walked all the way to the top. Definitely dress in layers and bring sunscreen. Amazing views. Stopped at a fantastic restaurant at the bottom of the hill on the river, extremely authentic Spanish, food, and plenty of sangria.

Sierra Nevada day trip - Had a fantastic day trip to Sierra Nevada with the knowledgeable Jose. What a beautiful place to visit in summer when there are few people around. Thanks Jose!

Sierra Nevada - what an experience - It is a worthwhile tour to make. Great scenery especially since it had snowed right before our tour. Just make sure to wear proper attire (check weather) and know that you will be walking up hill in rocky terrain. It was just breathtaking. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very eager to make sure all were pleased with the experience. Must eat at Restaurante Maitena while you are there.

Lovely family experience in Sierra Nevada - We had a great time. Enjoyed the sight from high elevation and went to the ski resort where we enjoyed time sleigh riding and snowtubing. We had a great tour guide that personalized our trip. Also got some souvenirs from one of the small shops. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss and just a short trip from Granada. Great for kids and families.

Great tour guide, but… - For the amount of money that was charged per person ($128/person), this was a rather disappointing experience. We purchased expecting to be able to hike to high altitudes to see snow, the lagoons, close views of the mountain etc. But what we got was a 2.5 hr hike through one of the local trails (with a far view of the mountain) and then lunch (not included in fee) and , after a long drive to the highest accessible point by car. The tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure everyone in the group felt included. I could tell he is passionate about his work. That’s why it’s 3/5 stars instead of a lower rating. A disclaimer needs to be made somewhere that the experience may not be as advertised in the description and each tour will be different. Plus the pictures in the description are not a guarantee of what you will see. Not sure I’d book with this company again, but would consider other experiences with the guide if he has different tours.
