Sacred climax - The Monasterio de San Jeronimo was built as a monastery between 1504 and 1563. The highlight is the two-story cloister with a view of the bell tower. Even more interesting for us is the Renaissance church with the high altar, which is decorated with lavish reliefs (by Jacopo Florentina and Diego de Siloé). There are some beautiful paintings hanging in the church. There are many photo opportunities.
Well worth seeing!
