What water tells about a town - I decided to do this tour together with a friend because it seemed like a very special proposal that could teach us things and take us along paths that we would not have been able to discover without someone to guide us. We were not disappointed. Our guide, José, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Granada, the Alhambra, the archaeological projects around it, and the ecological and reforestation initiatives taking place around the Alhambra forests. All this without taking center stage from the history of water management systems and the value that has been given to it throughout the history of Granada. José adapted the tour to our interests, answering our questions, and we created a space where we could share our feelings and concerns together while we learned, feeling cared for and safe at all times. If you want to do something really special in Granada, are interested in history and ecology and want to see the Alhambra forests (including the best views of the city) with the best guide imaginable, I highly recommend this tour.
