beautiful places and unforgettable experience - I am travelling with 6-year old daughter and my 83 year old father on a wheel chair. Our driver/guild was Jonzalo. He's the best driver/guild we ever had. Frijiliana was a beautiful place but also difficult to access for wheel chairs. He helped me a lot during the whole journey. Moreover, he is very knowledgeable about the places we visited and gave useful information about Andalusia. Everyone enjoyed the trip very much, thanks to Jonzalo's company. Frijiliana and Nerja are definiately worth visiting. If you have some time to spend in this region, don't miss it.

Great Scenery in southern Spain - The Nerja caves & Frijiliana tours - it was awesome. Two contrasting sceneries with views that is simply magnificent. (Caves vs. Coastal town views)

Must-see Nerja Cave - We had to change the date of our tour with short notice, and tour operator was incredibly helpful and worked out a solution for us on a Sunday no less (I was doubtful we would even get a response on a Sunday)! We ended up getting a private tour with a knowledgeable & friendly guide, Jose, who was very accommodating. The highlight of the trip was visiting the caves - -this impressed even our hard-to-please teens. If you can, combine this trip with a lunch beach-side and a dip into the ocean in town itself of Nerja

Highly recommend Nerja and Frigiliana visit - Beautiful views traveling to Nerja. Nerja caves are amazing. The views of the beach and coastline were spectacular. Frigiliana is a beautiful spot with many shops, restaurants and breathtaking views. Our driver (Fredrico) is very knowledgeable of the areas, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend him.

Nerja and Frigiliana were enchanting!!! - The trip was amazing. However, our guide, a young man, scolded us for being a few minutes late to our meeting site. It was quite upsetting to the whole group of women as we were not prepared to be spoken to that way.

DO NOT BOOK. WILL CANCEL YOUR TOUR LAST MINUTE. - DO NOT BOOK with this company (Discovering Spain). Despite the tour being “confirmed” by TripAdvisor, the tour company were flaky from the beginning and told me via email that the tour was, in fact, NOT confirmed. They promised they would contact me if they did get another reservation to confirm the tour. Which is a bummer but I get it and can roll with some uncertainty. I booked another refundable backup tour with a different company just in case. Discovering Spain never contacted me but I did email them myself 3 days before the tour to check in and they said a second reservation had been made by another group, so the tour was confirmed. So I cancelled my backup tour and thought we were all set for a great day in Nerja and Frigiliana. Then, the day before the tour (less than 24 hours before it was supposed to start), they contacted me again to say their second party had cancelled their reservation so our tour was now cancelled. THE DAY BEFORE. Outside the cancellation window. After I paid. After already confirming it. After I cancelled my backup plan. I understand that they need to hit a minimum group size to cover their costs. What I don’t understand is why those costs weren’t already covered if the second group cancelled outside the cancellation period, since they would’ve been already charged (as I was) and the fee would’ve been nonrefundable for a late cancellation (I asked multiple times about this and they refused to answer). That is the entire purpose of disallowing cancellations within 48 hours of the tour starting. So this should have been a profitable tour for them even if it was just my party of two joining the actual tour. I believe Discovering Spain pocketed the other group’s money at 100% profit and decided to incur no costs at all to themselves by cancelling while screwing us over. This left me with a wasted day on my vacation due to a flaky tour company because no alternate tours were available to Costa del Sol for the next day. I ended up booking a private tour at THREE TIMES THE COST because I refused to let them ruin our vacation by wasting an entire day. I’ve been on many group tours like this and occasionally had a similar situation crop up where another group cancelled late. In every instance, the tour company has made good on their promise to their customers and simply conducted the tour with only my party of two people. I have never ever ever seen a tour company willingly totally ruin a client’s vacation day like this. People work hard to earn the money and time for vacation days. That’s the whole reason this company exists. Discovering Spain provided the single worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered from a supposed “hospitality” company. Honestly, I don’t even think they should be allowed to list their tour “services” on TripAdvisor or Viator anymore. It’s a terrible reflection on those companies, as well. So unless you don’t care if they ruin one of your hard-earned vacation days on a whim or don’t mind paying 3x the cost to another company when they leave you in an impossible position with a cancellation less than 24 hours before, AVOID THIS COMPANY (Discovering Spain) AT ALL COSTS.
