Fantastic! - The hike up the Sierra Nevada was truly breathtaking! The guide, Jaime, was fantastic and made sure we were well prepared with walking poles, gloves, fleece etc. He is also a fantastic person, very friendly and willing to share his experience and expert knowledge of these incredible mountains. Don't be afraid to ask questions, he is happy to answer. I learnt so much from him. His dog Kye, is the star of the show! Ensure you bring sunglasses, hat, sun cream - it is not to be underestimated how exposed you are to the sun, and depending on the day, also the wind. Take some water and snacks for energy, at the return location, there is time for food and drinks if you want. Thank you Jaime!

It is not difficult, the wiews are impressive and the guide is kind and helpful, he knows the area so well and is always willing to explain anything and adapt the pace to the different people there. April ‘24 Hike - Our hike with Jaime and Kai was amazing! Right from the pick up location, we knew we were in good hands. On the ride over, we were immersed in Granada history. Arriving at the starting location, Jaime provided all hikers with extra layers, which were necessary for our middle of April hike. The hike itself was a perfect pace for experienced yet out of season hikers. And the views made the experience well worth the climb. His knowledge and love for the mountains were beyond infectious. A must do for the outdoorsy tourist!

Awesome views - We really enjoyed our hike with Jamie and Kai. Jamie is an excellent guide answering question and point out flora, fauna, and geomorphic features on the mountain. Be prepared with lunch, snack, water, and a long day of physical exertion. The views were worth the climb (which was challenging at times)! We would definitely recommend this day trip!

Awesome "Antioxidants" Filled Hike in Sierra Nevada - I bumped into Nevada Guides website by chance and I feel blessed for the impromptu decision to engage the guide service to Vereda de la Estrella. Jaime was very responsive towards whatsapp enquiry and a responsible guide too. The hike with him accompanied by Kai marked a magnificent highlight throughout my 13 days stay in Granada. I am happy that Jaime is patient in leading intermediate hiker like me and I truly enjoyed much his profound geographical knowledge of the scenic terraine formation and inhabitants since the medieval middle ages. Especially the way how the bubbly Kai (strong and sturdy) always turned back to check whereabout me was really heartening. The near 14km trekking was simply mind blowing and calming. I could not get enough of the stunning craggy ridges and the snow-capped rugged peaks, blossoming almond trees sprawling out in the slopes, chirpy birds, lots more to shout out. It is wise choice for me to live a superb day through this hike.

Great hike with beautiful views - Jamie was awesome! I was nervous bringing along my 64yr old mom and three kids. He was very helpful and encouraging. My mom wanted to give up multiple times but Jamie some how got her to the top. We went a different route than what he normally takes and it was a good decision. The hike was fun with beautiful views. I would love to go back and do another hike with him.
