Additional Information

Situated in the heart of Granada, the tablao’s location in Plaza Nueva makes it a prime destination for tourists. The superior location lends an element of convenience that often factors into the choice of show attendees. Once inside, we stand out from the rest through our unique seating plan that promises each visitor a flawless and complete stage view. With a five-tiered main grandstand and a VIP section on the upper floor, attendees are allocated their own respective seats in these two main areas. The Tablao’s distinction, however, comes from the excellence and professional acumen displayed in the show. Our artists are nationally and internationally acclaimed, with many having received awards. We keenly uphold an ethos which respects the artists’ tablao performance, providing an environment free from distractions and commercial dilution of the art form.

Pure flamenco - Beautiful Spanish flamenco experience! The layout of the stage and chairs is not very comfortable or spacious, but it is an hour of pure flamenco. This dance club sells its tickets online or in stores of the same name, which, by the way, are worth a visit. Buying there, you get a discount on the ticket. You can add a drink for the show, which you can pick up directly at the counter.

Excellent artistic representation. Superb location - Excellent and best representation of flamenco artists. They are real flamenco artists, dancing, voice and guitar in osmosis. A real moment of sincerity and passion. We had the honor of seeing great, passionate and fiery artists known and recognized in their discipline. Exceptional evening. The program is published in advance with the names of the artists by date. Tablao located in the center, intimate and welcoming with a smile. I highly recommend and thank the artists 🙏

Fantastic experience. - The flamenco show was beautiful: very good dancers, singer and guitarist. We had seen other similar shows but not as engaging.

Exciting, appealing, authentic - The show was very exciting, appealing and seemed authentic to us. The central location right next to our hotel was the deciding factor for us. The caves sounded more exciting, but that wasn't an option for us in November with the temperatures, and it would certainly be different in summer. It wasn't our first flamenco show, but it was one of the best.

WITHOUT HESITATION ; an excellent show - A small venue in the center of Granada (No need to go specifically to one of the Sacromonte cuevas), which offers a show at 7:00 p.m. (and another at 9:00 p.m.). 7:00 p.m. is a good way to end a day of wandering in the historic center of Granada, before going to dinner. Of course, it's built as an attraction for tourists (you have to assume your role!), but it's very well done, varied (singing, couple dance, men's zapateado, women's dance), and we spend a magnificent hour, for a very reasonable price of €20.00/person. A priori, even in low season, it is better to book

Situated in the centre of Granda, the Tablao Flamenco La Alborea Granda has come an unforgettable landmark for me (and this is coming from a person who has travelled to 30 countries). I went to Spain in May of this year to prepare myself for my DELE C1 Spanish Language exam and ever since I studied the language, it has always been a dream to visit Granada. I have a huge passion for Flamenco music ever since I purchased my first Paco de Lucia CD when I was fifteen. The performance itself was tremendous and just simply dazzling. I have accepted that I will never emulate this. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to speak with the artists after the show and they were very friendly with me. We ended up speaking for a lengthy period of time about Flamenco music! For travellers, it would be best if you purchase tickets weeks in advance since they sell out quite fast. I was lucky enough to purchase them two days before my arrival in the city. The VIP pass permits a dinner and a drink so in other words, it is perfect.

Very good and authentic show - We had no references, but the truth is that the show was not touristy at all, but very authentic and of a high level.

Disappointment of the place but good show - We went because they had good opinions but as soon as we entered they put us in a kind of box, “chicken coop” with the excuse that my daughter would see better there! We had arrived first, the place was empty and we asked them to please, we didn't want to be up there, we wanted to be down like everyone else, the entrance didn't say that we were in a chicken coop to see the show from the side and from above. Then the guy tells us that they are numbered, which is not true, on the website you can only reserve the first or second row or entry with dinner, but no boxes. Then he told us that those who buy tickets first had seat preference…. When he didn't even know when we had bought them! One lie after another we go…. The chairs are completely stuck together, with no room to even get up. As for the professionals, they are good, the dancer is the best, although they change a lot. On that side no complaints.

INTIMATE ATMOSPHERE, BUT LACKING CREATIVITY IN REPERTOIRE - This venue is very small, intimate seating is the order of things- with perhaps people you would not normlly want to sit with or people having a cough/cold. So be prepared for those things. The opportunity of seeing flamenco dancers close-up- is worth the expense and perhaps the little inconveniences. The ability to take photos is also another plus, unlike the restrictions in some flamenco theatres. The performance that we saw was good, but not excellent. Maybe the routines and dances change frequently? We would not rush to see the same dancers again- unless the repertoire was wider and more creative.
