Additional Information

Haga holds its rank as the most ancient district in Gothenburg. The pedestrian-friendly Haga Nygata boasts numerous well-preserved residences, many of which demonstrate the distinctive Gothenburg architectural style known as ‘landshövdingehus’, featuring a brick base and wooden upper floors. Every house and establishment in this district carries a rich historical narrative, which we’ll explore during our tour, focusing on the most intriguing ones. In the 1900s, Haga had a reputation as a gritty low-income area, but that’s hard to imagine now as it’s currently ranked as Gothenburg’s trendiest district overflowing with a variety of cafes, delicatessens and independent stores, all promising to enthrall you with their uniquely Swedish appeal. Our knowledgeable local guide will whisk you around, showcasing the must-visit locations, the little-known treasure spots, and the popular local hangouts, giving you a comprehensive understanding of Gothenburg’s most emblematic district.

Haga with superb guide! - Top knotch guide! Kalima spent way over 2 hours with us and our small group of 8. My husband and I are 76 and 81 and Kalima and other participants were very kind and accommodating. We only had a day here. What a fortunate choice we made.

interesting tour - This was a really interesting tour and our guide was both friendly and helpful. My only problem was that the slope up the hill was too steep to be safe for my wheelchair.

Good tour but super expensive - The tour was nice. The guide was friendly and knew a lot about Haga which made it an interesting and pleasant experience. However ~44 euros for a 1.5 hour tour is just realy expensive so I would say the bang for buck ratio is kinda off.

Disappointed - No one arrived for the tour. I arrived at 11h30 for 12h00 tour, called at 12h05 but no answer. Left a message and then left at 12h15. Hopefully a refund will be processed!
