DAY 01 - ARRIVE AT DELHI - HEAD TO JAIPUR

Rashtrapati Bhavan - The Palace of Rashtrapati Bhavan is located in New Delhi. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy’s House and served as the residence of the Governor-General of India. On 12th December 1911, during the Delhi Durbar year it was announced by King George that the capital of India would be shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. As the plan for New Delhi took shape, the Governor-General’s residence was given an enormous scale and prominent position.

India Gate - The All India War Memorial, popularly known as the India Gate, is located along the Rajpath in New Delhi. The imposing structure of India Gate is an awe-inspiring sight and is often compared to the Arch de Triomphe in France, the Gateway of India in Mumbai and the Arch of Constantine in Rome. This 42-meter tall historical structure was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is one of the largest war memorials in the country.

Humayun’s Tomb - As the name suggests, Humayun’s tomb is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. Located in the Nizamuddin East area of Delhi, it is the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent. This splendid piece of architecture was commissioned for construction by Humayun’s chief consort empress Bega Begum in the year 1569-70 and is one of the very few structures that used red sandstone on such a massive scale at that time.

Qutub Minar - One of the most important tourist centers in India Delhi is home to some of the finest monuments in the world. Mostly built during the Mughal reign in India the monuments in Delhi represent a rich and rich style of architecture. The Qutub Minar in Delhi is apparently the largest tower in the world built by one of the Mughals.

Fun and Informative - We had a great tour of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur with Mac. We loved the historical, cultural and religious context he always provided, and he was always very willing to answer all of our (sometimes dumb) questions about all things India. Besides seeing the sites, we loved our bicycle rickshaw ride through the markets in Agra and the elephant ride to the palace in Jaipur. We felt very safe everywhere we went. Loved it!

Splendid tour of North India. - The best thing we could do to enjoy our stay in India was to hire the Mak agency. Crown India Tour offered us a smooth and well-organized trip. In addition, Mak sent us as a guide Farhan with a very good Spanish and the driver Salim who was an expert driving in India. The places where we stayed were of excellent quality. They were all very professional looking after our safety.

Best trip of our life!!! Mak is a legend! - I’m not going to lie I was a little nervous to come to India as a female originally. Mostly because I haven’t traveled much before and had no idea what to expect. Mak picked us up from the airport and his energy and positivity made me feel safe instantly. I honestly felt so safe the entire time. We did Delhi > Agra > Jaipur and Mak filled everyday w nonstop fun! He shared so much history with us, knew the best times to see everything, knew all the best picture spots, and to top it off he was also an incredible photographer!! We took his advice and went to the Taj Mahal at 5am and his dedication to get us the most perfect pictures was unbelievable!! It’s hard to pick highlights when there honestly wasn’t a dull moment. The forts were stunning, the temples were stunning… I honestly can’t say enough great things about India and about Mak himself. He’s a rare gem that truly loves what he does and loves showing people his beautiful country. He has such a big heart and if you go to India the only mistake you could make is not picking Mak as your tour guide. I’m already telling all my friends and will be sending them his way for sure. By the end of the trip we made a friend in Mak and we hope he’ll come visit us in the US one day!! Also his driver was so sweet and always had a smile on his face. We love you, Mak!!!! Thank you for making our trip unreal. We’ll cherish these memories forever 💙💙💙

Greatest and safest VIP tour in India ! - I highly recommend this tour with the kind and educated guide Mak who is fully licensed by the govt of India. He and our amazing driver took us all throughout India and our experience went above our own highest of expectations. From start to finish they were there to make our trip smooth, comfortable, and amazing in every way. Our biggest concern traveling to India was safety. With Mak we felt beyond safe the entirety of the trip/tour. Many times strangers wanted to take pictures with us .. and Mak would ask us if we didn’t want them to he would have them leave but we had no problem taking pics w strangers as everyone was very nice. The vehicle used was fully air conditioned, clean, spacious and stocked with snacks and drinks. He showed us around Delhi, Agra , Jaipur and educated on the history of the beautiful temples and forts we visited. He took time to take pictures for us. My highlight of the trip was visiting the Taj Mahal. I asked if possible to take pics without massive crowds and he had a game plan to make it happen and he did. I can honestly say Iv never had a better guide than with Mak on all my travels. Someone you can fully trust throughout who goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible in India.
