Hopo is fully flexible with something for everyone, you can stay aboard for the full loop (2 hrs) or explore the hop-off destinations at your leisure.

Hop on Hop off Ferry with Alan - Alan was an excellent tour guide both informative, friendly, and fun! He was also funny and made the trip enjoyable for everyone. Also, communicated clearly and was easy to understand.

Lovely cruise. Great... - Lovely cruise. Great sights. All captains were knowledgable of the area and made you feel so welcome! Even got a chance to use the service once more up to 7 days after your first trip. Amazing!

A lovely way to spend a few hours - This was a great experience seeing the Gold Coast from the water. The commentary was interesting and seeing all the posh houses was great. We got off at Marina Mirage and had lunch and then waited for the boat back to Surfers.

Communication breakdown - Communication was the downfall.
We were not advised before going on our trip that due to an electrical fault there would be no running commentary, which totally detracted from the trip. Also there were no refreshments available for the same reason.
When it started raining the skipper was slow to pull the blinds down and everyone was huddled in the middle of the boat to keep dry.
We also found out the night before we were entitled to a seniors discount of $10 each but the kiosk booking clerk knew this but offered no compensation on our pre-paid tickets.
Altogether a disappointing experience.

Viator was not loyal to us. We have been loyal to Viator. - It was so windy we chose not to take the tour for safety reasons. I requested a refund but was denied. It was the last of 8-10 tours we took through Viator on this vacation. Last year we took more than 20 tours through Viator. I may look for a new tour company that is more loyal to good customers.
