Spyros is Amazing!!! - Our guide, Spyros, was an amazing person to spend an entire day with. He was knowledgeable, very well connected, and extremely friendly and willing to teach us anything we wanted to know. The host at each winery knew Spyros very well, and as a result they were unbelievably accommodating to our requests. Usually, we actually prefer small group tours so we can meet more travelers, and it doesn't put as much pressure on us to be conversational, but with Spyros we were glad we had him all to ourselves. We learned a ton about Greek wine and the history of the Nemea region, met so many wonderful people, and drank lots of lovely wine! Here is more about our itinerary: - Picked up at our hotel by Spyros and taken to the Corinth Canal for a quick walk and a picture - Arrived at our first winery and were able to see the barrels in the basement and for our first time see the assembly line at work bottling and labeling wines - Had an amazing tasting with generous pours - Spyros took us to the second winery in the Nemea valley, this one right next to a lovely little river - After another tasting we were treated to a delicious and filling lunch - By the time we arrived to the last winery we were feeling very good, and were treated to our last tasting of the day - All the while during the drive, Spyros filled us in on the history of the Greek wine scene, how it relates to the global wine market, and the history current events of the region - On our way back, full of wine and food, we passed out while Spyros took us safely back to our hotel

Our private wine tour was fabulous! - Our guide, Spyros picked us up at our hotel at 9am and we drove 1.5 hours to the Nemea wine region where we tasted wines from three different vineyards. Through Spyros' expertise, we learned a great deal about Greek wines and some of the history of the area. We were served an amazing lunch at the 3rd winery and he had us back at our hotel by 5pm. It was the perfect dayI I would highly recommend Vins for any of their tours or wine events.
