- Fortaleza de São João - The historical fortresses at the mouth of the Guanabara Bay are quite an attraction as seen from the water. From your point of view, you will have the same feelings pirates had when entering the bay uninvited.
- Fortaleza de Santa Cruz da Barra - The largest of all fortresses in Rio, Santa Cruz was very instrumental in defending Rio from pirate attacks.
- Museu de Arte Contemporanea de Niteroi - Appreciate this exquisite masterpiece of architect Oscar Niemeyer from the water.
- Icarai Beach - Main central beach in Niteroi where many locals reside in tall apartment building oceanfront.
- Praia de Charitas - Another residential area in Niteroi served by many sailing clubs.
- Jurujuba Beach - This is an old fisherman community where many still keep their fishing boats.
- Red Beach - CONDITIONS PERMITTING ONLY: This beautiful beach is located outside the bay and subject to sea motion. It is ideal for swimming.

Departing from the Marina da Gloria, this sailing experience unveils, right from the start, the two most iconic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro: the statue of Christ The Redeemer and Sugar Loaf.
As the sailing proceeds, the Captain helps guests understand the magic of sailing and responds to questions about Rio’s history, while guests relax, enjoy our welcome drinks, snacks, and appreciate the great views!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- Midday sails off at 11am (12am, Dec22-Feb18). Sunset sails off 3pm (4pm, Dec22-Feb18). Don’t be late! We leave on time!

Please come down from the taxi drop-off area to find the checkpoint to PIER A2 (blue cabin left of waterfront). Please identify yourself to security and mention you will board KAMEHAMEHA OR MAKANI MAIKAI. Proceed to end of PIER A2, to meet us and board.

Great sailboat trip in Rio! - Great trip around the Rio de Janeiro Bay, with different views of the famous mountains. The guests were treated to endless drinks and a variety of snacks, while enjoying the views and the boat. The crew, Daniel and Marcela, were extremely friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend.

Great views, friendly crew. - This was one of, if not the best thing we did while in Rio. Amazing views of the city and sugar loaf and Christ the redeemer from the water. Only another couple with us so it felt almost private. Drinks and snacks were great. The crew were very friendly. We had a great time.

A great sunset swim - Beautiful sunset, great boat, drinks were flowing, and a lovely sea swim. Really good vibes in a small group, and a Bluetooth speaker to add to the atmosphere

Excellent trip and good value - Excellent daytime sail - they had to reschedule us from sunset due to being a boat down. Great staff - really friendly, super attentive and spoke great English and pointed out key points. Boat is very comfortable - weather was mixed but they can’t do anything about that! Really good value for price! Fantastic views of Sugar Loaf and Corcovado from the sea. Would recommend

Great experience to decompress - Amazing cruise with 4 professionnals. We had the chance to see a lot of islands from the golf and a beautiful sunset. 3h, it really worth the price. We've been served snacks and caipirinhas during the sail. I recommand it 100% ! Bravo au Capitaine Daniel

Beautiful sailboat ride in Rio - We had such a wonderful sail around Guanadara Bay with this company. Marsala was amazing! We saw Sugar loaf, Christ redeemer, the beautiful sunsets…oh and we took a dip. Easy to find from Marina da Gloria. An alcoholic drink and an adorable cheese tray included. Loved this.
