Highlights
  • Sugarloaf Mountain - Sugar Loaf is an icon in Rio de Janeiro. Seeing it from the water and at a short distance is very impacting. Great for photographing!
  • Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer - The statue of Christ the Redeemer on top pf Corcovado hill is visible at all times from the water during our sailing experience!
  • Fortaleza de São João - The historical fortresses at the mouth of the Guanabara Bay are quite an attraction as seen from the water. From your point of view, you will have the same feelings pirates had when entering the bay uninvited.
  • Fortaleza de Santa Cruz da Barra - The largest of all fortresses in Rio, Santa Cruz was very instrumental in defending Rio from pirate attacks.
  • Museu de Arte Contemporanea de Niteroi - Appreciate this exquisite masterpiece of architect Oscar Niemeyer from the water.
  • Icarai Beach - Main central beach in Niteroi where many locals reside in tall apartment building oceanfront.
  • Praia de Charitas - Another residential area in Niteroi served by many sailing clubs.
  • Jurujuba Beach - This is an old fisherman community where many still keep their fishing boats.
  • Red Beach - CONDITIONS PERMITTING ONLY: This beautiful beach is located outside the bay and subject to sea motion. It is ideal for swimming.
  • Copacabana Beach - CONDITIONS PERMITTING ONLY!
Appreciated this iconic beach from the water!
  • Santos Dumont (SDU) - If you are a fan of airplanes, you will be thrilled to see them take off and land at a short distance from where we sail.
  • Ponte Rio–Niteroi - Appreciate this amazing construction form the water!

Very impressive cruise and highly recommended - We really enjoyed the views and history of the bay especially around sunset. The views of Rio de Janeiro, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the beaches were great. The fortress at the entry to the bay was really impressive as the waves were striking the base. The crew were very friendly and made the experience special.

Lovely evening experience - Great experience! Marcela and Bruno were very attentive. Enjoyed the sail and the sights. The sails were up and there were definitely proper sailing moments with heeling and big waves.

Such experience we are looking for! - What a great experience! Despite the fact that the morning cruise was canceled and the only last chance for me before the drive was the afternoon cruise, I think it was like luck in bad luck, because it was a wonderful sunset cruise, as I enjoyed it much more. Wonderful experience, sailers, boat, sunset, and great talks in English. The atmosphere on the bout was very chilly, with nice music, drinks and snacks, Perfect relaxation time. I really liked the approach of this family boat business and definitely, I would recommend this to all my friends.

Excellent crew means we had such a relaxing sailing experience - The sunset sailing cruise was just spectacular. The sun made an appearance at the right time, the clouds over Christ the Redeemer, the reflection of the sunset on the water, sharing the yacht with really wonderful American Brazilians, amazing crew- even got to see Turtles, a sting ray jumping out the water a few times and a plane landing over us! An experience I'll never forget.
