First trip to ullswater - First time trip on the boat, down to Poole bridge, really enjoyed the trip . It takes about an hour on the boat with one other stop dropping off walkers. Well worth the money and dog friendly .

Great way to take in the stunning views. - We’ve done the trip (Glenridding to Pooley Bridge and back) twice. The boats are well kept, clean and tidy. The crew are friendly. They have a little bar for drinks and snacks. The views are just stunning. Will definitely do it again when we return to the lakes.

Nice and relaxed - We had a lovely day for this cruise up Ullswater from Glenridding to Pooley Bridge ( and return). It is a beautiful and relaxed way to to enjoy that Lake and its views. It all went smoothly with no Hic-cups or hitches. Plenty of of option to walk parts and still pick the boat up and finish the journey. WE spent a couple of hours in Pooley Bridge before enjoying the return journey

Never to be missed. - A must when visiting Ullswater, take the cruise from either end of the lake for a trip on one of the beautifully maintained steamers. Hop on and off depending on how athletic you are or enjoy a leisurely lunch.

Lovely way to travel to pooley bridge - Love the ullswater steamers. When it’s lovely weather the views are amazing and very picturesque. This was our 2nd trip on them. Such a nice way to go to pooley bridge and back to glenridding.

Great trip - A very enjoyable trip to Pooley Bridge and back. Glorious weather and fabulous scenery. Really enjoyed the informative commentary. My only negative comment is having to pay £8.00 to park my car in the Ullswater Steamer car park.

Lazy day boat trip - Relaxing couple of hours on board Raven. Interesting commentary on the Lake and it's surrounding countryside. A suggested improvement would be to better organise boarding for people with mobility issues to allow them more time to get on and off the boat.

Return trip from Glenridding - Very enjoyable boat trip on Ullswater. Stopped at Pooley Bridge for lunch. It was quite a walk along a busy road to get from the boat into the village. The trip was dog friendly and there was plenty of seating as well as space to move around. There were WC's down stairs and refreshments were available to purchase.

Very good trip around the lake - Due to the high winds and low water levels some trips were cancelled.. we did manage to get out one day, really enjoyed the boat, clean and tidy, good facilities and helpful staff.. got soaked coming back as the upper deck was uncovered.. but overall a very enjoyable day.
