Fantastic whisky history tour - This was a great tour. I went as an introduction to whisky. I learned a lot about whisky, Glasgow, and the history of both. Neil was fantastic and very informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Stop Looking and Book this Pub Crawl! GREAT COMPANY!! - Stop looking and book your Whisky Pub Crawl now with Scottish Rogue! From beginning to end Neill was professional, extremely knowledgeable, caring, fun, very aware of safety as we walked around and just a blast to have as a guide. We had rain here and there during the crawl and he adapted and made it fun! Neill is passionate about Whisky and it shows. I am a Whisky lover and it doesn't matter if you are just learning or you have a little more knowledge and experience with your share of drams over the years, he immediately makes you feel comfortable and wants you to have fun during the process. The history that he provided throughout the crawl is absolutely amazing. Weaving the historical facts during the journey tied to whisky made it even more interesting and fun. You can tell he really cares about his city, the Whisky and making it a wonderful personal experience for the people on the Crawl. Booking was super easy with very clear directions and definitely worth the money spent. I have no hesitation recommending Scottish Rogue and will absolutely book them when I return. And this is not a paid review. Just a well deserved review for a genuinely great guy and wonderful company. Book this or any of their events...you won't regret it.

Fantastic afternoon - To begin, making arrangements for our whisky tour was super easy as their website is foolproof! We met with Neill and John as arranged in St Enoch's square. We really enjoyed hearing about some of the local history of Glasgow, including facts that I'd never heard before, and I'm Glaswegian. We visited 3 pubs and tasted a different malt at each one. It was a great atmosphere, filled with humour and friendly banter. I would recommend it to everyone, even those that don't have whisky as their normal tipple (such as myself 😄) Thanks to Scottish Rogue for a fantastic afternoon!

Touring the City with a Dram – A Brilliant Whisky Walk - As someone who doesn’t usually drink whisky, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I left this tour with a warm glow (and not just from the drams!). The experience was genuinely enjoyable and surprisingly educational. I came away with a new appreciation for whisky, armed with some fascinating facts I’d never known before. What really made the tour stand out was the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere created by our guides, Neil and John. From the moment we met, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a stuffy or overly serious affair. They struck the perfect balance of knowledgeable and down-to-earth, making the experience feel inclusive rather than pretentious. Each pub had its own charm, and the route gave a great flavour of Glasgow’s character—not just through the drinks, but through the city itself. I’d happily recommend this tour to anyone, whisky lover or not. It’s a great way to see Glasgow through a different lens, meet some friendly faces, and maybe even develop a taste for the water of life. 🥃😊

Oaft…. A must do trip! - So for a non whisky drinker I was a bit worried about how much I’d enjoy the day. Well… we had a great day out. Both John and Neil were very knowledgeable. It was interesting learning about the history behind Glasgow and its Whisky story. A great day out, fab banter, history and a dram with pals. Thoroughly recommend.

Great Day Out! - Had a great day last Saturday with friends on the Scottish Rogue Whisky Pub Crawl. John and Neil were great hosts and very knowledgeable about Glasgow and its whisky history. Even as a Glaswegian, I still learned things I didn’t know about the city and visited some crackin pubs I had never been to before. Might also have discovered my new favourite dram too. Brilliant day!

My friend and I only had... - My friend and I only had a few days in Glasgow and wanted to experience its world of whiskey. Neither of us are well versed in scotch/whiskey and prior to this it was likely my last drink of choice (lol). However my friend and I thought “well! When in Scotland!”. We learned a lot, both about the alcohol and the city, as it was a walking tour as well. You can tell that Neil is incredibly passionate about the business they have created and the city of Glasgow! Would recommend to anyone looking to learn a bit about the city’s history of distilleries and sipping on a scotch… or a few!
