Superb Personalized Private Tour - Our tour guide and driver, Simon provided a personable and authentic Scottish experience with inside information about Scotland. He was prompt and provided plenty of time for exploration without pressure to move on too quickly. This was a very enjoyable and personalized experience worth the price of a private tour.

The only way to see the Scottish Highlands - There are certain experiences in life that you get to do one time. Maybe more if you’re lucky. Coming all the way from San Francisco California, my family and I can say visiting the Scottish Highlands is a once in a lifetime experience. We wanted to make sure we did it right. Our guide Phil was exceptional. We made contact a few days before the trip just to touch base and make sure everything was in order before we left. Phil picked us up promptly at 7am (our requested pickup time) in from of our apartment in Glasgow. We packed in to a warm clean car with water bottles and a guide who seemed genuinely pleased to meet us and excited to take us on our journey. We started of right with a visit to a pair of the cutest “hairy coos” in a little village outside Glasgow. After taking about 100 pictures of the “hairy coos” we arrived at the sleepy little village. Phil took a lap around the village to show us our walking path and then parked at a little rest stop just outside. I appreciated that he had taken the lap with us explaining everything about the village and pointing out certain stopping points. Though nothing was open yet I actually preferred it this way. This normally touristy little town was completely quiet with the exception of a few early riser residents and a few merchants waiting for deliveries. Phil didn’t rush us through any of the stops. This tour was entirely for my family of four and what WE wanted to do. We strolled through every stop at our leisure. He throughly explained every stop if our journey, the interesting points in between, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had tea and lunch at the right time. Took toilet breaks when we needed to, and he advised us where to shop and what to look for at shops. Conversations were never awkward or forced. Phil is just one of those people that seems to have a natural ability to connect with others and make them feel comfortable and at ease at once. By the end our our trip it truly felt as if we made friends with him! If you’re thinking of a tour of the highlands with your family this is the only way to go. Is it expensive? Yes. But do you get what you pay for? Yes, and so much more. You’re not be shoved around like cattle on a giant tour bus, rushed passed scenic points, or on a timer at your stops. If a tour of the Scottish Highlands is a bucket list item/once in a lifetime experience, then this is the only way to go. I think I took well over 100 photos over the course of our tour. Thank you Phil for your kindness, your knowledge, and providing us with the “above and beyond incredible day you gave us!” We have memories for a lifetime because if the day you showed us.

Stunning view & unforgettable memory - This was truly one of the most enjoyable trips we’ve ever taken—right at the top of our list. The scenery was absolutely stunning at every turn, with breathtaking views that made the experience unforgettable. Our tour guide, James, was outstanding. There were eight of us in the group, most of whom were seniors, and he set a comfortable pace that everyone could enjoy. James was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s rich history and shared insights with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. His warm personality and thoughtful attention to each of us made the journey even more special. Highly recommended!

Wonderful day experiencing Scotland - This was an amazing day in the Scottish highlands, Glencoe, Loch Lommond and many other lochs, Three Sisters, and Oban. Our guide Diana was truly amazing at sharing the history and details of all the places we visited. She also ensured we had plenty of time for photos. Diana was incredible and we would certainly seek her out again when we come back.

Highlight of our British Isles trip! - Our tour guide George was the best. Hard to choose a highlight of the day because everything was top notch. This was hands down the best tour we had in all of the British Isles.

Tour of Clan Lands and History - This was one of the most fantastic days our tour of Ireland, England, and Scotland. Joao made the outstanding. We told him we wanted to tour our clan history and he researched everything in advance and found us the perfect day adventure. He took us to the Clan Museum where we learned a ton, but on the way he had stories to share about the lands, country, and history. Very entertaining, educational, and personable. He even arranged for us to meet the head of the museum. She was fantastic and filled us with tons of information. Then we were off to visit some grave sites, churches, historical landmarks, and he even found a tree that Baird our surname. We ended the day having dinner where discussed more history, future, and current events. Not single moment went by for the entire day that we felt bored and were sad to see the day come to an end. I hope you will consider Joao and E2G Tours for your next Scottish adventure or tour. A most excellent day Joao. Thank you!!

Absolutely amazing visit to the Scottish Highlands! - Our tour of the Highlands was absolutely incredible! Even though it was rainy and gloomy during parts of the tour, I swear it made it more magical (pictures can’t capture how beautiful it was!). I went with my family (parents and sister), and we all enjoyed it very much. We’re from Brazil so it was very nice having a tour guide who speaks Portuguese. João was very attentive and made sure we got to see the Highland cows which were a priority for us. He clearly communicated how much time we should spend in each village we visited and tailored everything to our needs and wants. We stopped several times along the way and experienced crazy views and saw amazing castles, lochs, and villages. João gave us some historical background to every place we went, making the experience even more magical. He also provides some yummy snacks and water. He picked us up (on time!) in his van so we all had plenty of space and were very comfortable during the trip. 10/10 recommend.
