Phenomenal tour! - Im a former/sometime music journalist, and I can say that Fiona's tour of Glasgow music history and present was unparalleled in its comprehensiveness and accessiblity. We did a private tour, so we got to ask more questions than we might on a group tour, but regardless, it was phenomenal and really insightful. A fantastic way for any music fan to explore Glasgow's importance to musich history!

Interesting and Enjoyable! - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! The visit to Britannia Panopticon was a revelation! My friends and I didn’t know it existed! Fiona, our guide was excellent and her knowledge and anecdotes made the experience so interesting and memorable. We would highly recommend this Merchant City tour and we look forward to doing The Golden Mile tour at another time.

Not to be missed - This was an excellent tour and I would highly recommend. The tour guide Phil was exceptional in his knowledge of the Glasgow music scene through history to the current day. An easy and relaxed pace with lots of “stories” delivered in a way that left me feeling I had learned so much whilst being entertained.. only in Glasgow can you enjoy such wonderful “patter” The tour included a visit to the old music hall which was fascinating. I will definitely return to do the afternoon tour and would happily do this one again as there is so much more to learn and enjoy Thank you Phil .. a great wee turn

Great tour by a great guide - Arrived a few minutes late due to train running late and world cycling event taking place in city centre. Thankfully Phil the guide was still at the meeting point talking about the Clutha Bar etc. Phil the guide really knows his music and this is evident in this informative tour about Glasgow, the groups and the venues. The tour is at an easy pace and also stops at street art etc for photo opportunities. Next time we will do the afternoon tour but would happily do the morning tour again

Fascinating, friendly experience. - This was a fascinating experience. I could have listened to Phil’s stories about music in Glasgow for several more hours and learned a huge amount during the tour. Both Phil and the other tour participants were really friendly and kind. I couldn’t recommend this strongly enough, whether you already live in Glasgow or are visiting. Absolutely superb.
