Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - The last remaining wonder of the ancient world; for nearly 4500 years, the extraordinary shape, impeccable geometry and sheer bulk of the Giza Pyramids have invited the obvious questions:
How were we built, and why?
. Centuries of research have given us parts of the answer. Built as massive tombs on the orders of the pharaohs, they were constructed by teams of workers tens-of-thousands strong. Today they stand as an awe-inspiring tribute to the might, organization and achievements of ancient Egypt.

walk around the great pyramids, visit the panoramic view for the best photos, then visit the great sphinx

  • Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt
  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara, also spelled Sakkara or Saccara in English, is a vast, ancient burial ground in Egypt, serving as the necropolis for the Ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis.

You will explore the oldest pyramid in all of Egypt for the pharaoh Djoser, they call it the step pyramid, then visit one of the dignitaries tombs, you will fascinate by the amazing colors & scenes.

  • Pyramids of Dahshour - Dahshur is a royal necropolis located in the desert on the west bank of the Nile approximately 40 kilometers south of Cairo. It is known chiefly for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest and best preserved in Egypt, built from 2613-2589 BC.

You will visit & enter the amazing bent and red pyramid for the pharaoh Senefru (father of Cheops or Khufu the founder of the great pyramid).

  • Memphis and Sakkara - Memphis was the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt. Its ruins are located near the town of Mit Rahina, 20 km south of Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. According to legend, as related by Manetho, the city was founded by the Pharaoh Menes.

You will be visiting the second largest sphinx in Egypt after the one in Giza, it was made out from alabaster stones, it is still has the nose, probably belongs to the pharaoh Ramses II or his son.

Then you will be visiting the gigantic statue of Ramses II, was made out of single block of limestone, weights around 70 tones.

Wonders of Egypt helped make it happen, and the day was smoother than it otherwise would have been. The rest of the itinerary was more relaxing by comparison. Wonders of Egypt patiently collaborated with us ahead of time to customize our schedule. Ali (our guide on Day 1) and Adel (our guide on Day 7) are both knowledgeable Egyptologists. They gave us passionate and thorough insights on ancient Egyptian culture. A highlight of our trip was the five days we spent with Azab, an Egyptologist who lives in Luxor. We are big fans of ancient history. Azab answered all our many questions. He is proud of Egypt’s history and wants to share it. His kindness, patience, and professionalism gave us a sense of reassurance - which was particularly valuable on our trip, as the Gaza/Israel conflict had erupted less than a week before our arrival. A search of “Azab” and “Egypt” on TripAdvisor’s web site will reveal multiple reviews echoing our praise. Wonders of Egypt Tour did a fantastic job. They made sure our transfers on vans, planes, and ships were as seamless as possible. Their accommodation choices were outstanding. Steven and Corinne October 2023

Exceptional experience with Wonders if Egypt - As a solo traveler I was concerned about spending 5 days alone with a tour guide and driver. But Muhammad Raouf the Egyptolgist and the driver made me very comfortable and took care of all my asks. Muhammad Raouf’s knowledge is exceptional and he is so enthusiastic about sharing all that Egypt has to offer. Ahmed was so accommodating in tailoring the 5 days based on my budget and my wish list. He helped design the tour in such anyway that I would see all the gems of Egypt without any pressure. I have recommended them to others as well.

Awesome multi-day tour in Cairo! - Ali was amazing- truly! So knowledgeable and brought us to places that not many get to see, in addition to the Giza pyramids and Sphinx. We were met at the airport, all transportation was smooth to our hotel. We got to see so much in three days. We loved the bent pyramid. Thank you very much, Ali for planning and executing a perfect multi-day tour!

Wonderful Team! Highly Recommend! - We highly recommend the Wonder's of Egypt for your Egpyt adventure. Our family of two adults and two teenagers traveled to Egypt in February for just over a week. Ali and his team helped us plan our sites and travel from Europe to Egypt. We spent three days in Cairo and then flew to Aswan to cruise up the Nile. Ali's team coordinated all of our movements and visits during our stay. Their team was flexible, responsive, and ensured we were safe and well cared for during our trip. The high quality of their service was the best part of our trip. Ali even helped coordinate the repair of our son's Iphone when the screen broke. Thank you!

The only way to see Egypt! - Wonders of Egypt helped us have the perfect vacation in Egypt. Ali and his team were fantastic hosts. Ali has been helping us plan a visit to Egypt for two years. Timing and covid kept delaying our visit. Through everything Ali was patient and so helpful. His knowledge of Egypt and how to best see all of the wonders is second to none. He booked all accommodations in Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and the Nile cruise. He also booked our flights within the country. Wonders of Egypt made sure we were expedited through the airports for arrivals and departures. All transportation was sorted, timely, clean, and safe. Wonders of Egypt made sure to take the stress and frustration out of our travel. All of our guides were personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ali was our guide in Cairo, Maha in Alexandria, and Kerylos in Aswan and Luxor. We learned so much about ancient and modern Egypt, but also felt like we came away with three new friends. When Ali found out how much I love molasses he had some sent from his home. His family grows sugar cane so he was excited to share. The German airport security confiscated it in Munich, which was very upsetting, but it was so kind of Ali to gift that to us. We have been to many countries in Europe and Asia and never book guided tours. I am so glad we decided to use Wonders of Egypt to properly show us the best of the country. If you are with them for 2 weeks like us or do any number of hourly or day tours they offer you will not be disappointed. This is the only way to see and get the most out of a trip to Egypt.

Amazing trip to Egypt with Wonders of Egypt - Review I spent 11 days in Egypt and used Wonders of Egypt as our tour company. I cannot even describe the level of professionalism and degree of detail they put in to the trip. Ali was our contact and he was diligent throughout the process of booking ti make sure everything was perfect. We never had to worry about anything. From tickets to sites, transportation, meals, tour guides, and they even met us at the airport to expedite the visa process. Everything was taken care of. We had first class accommodations and very nice and comfortable transportation. After exploring Cairo and Giza we were off to Aswan. We were accompanied to the airport and assisted through security and when we arrived in Aswan we were met by Kerylos who would be our guide for the next 4 days. Kerylos is a brilliant historian and told such interesting stories at each temple we visited. He also helped us navigate the local market on his own time. We then took the cruise ship Sarah up the Nile to Luxor. Cruising the Nile is a wonderful experience and the only drawback is all the cruise ships stop at the same sites at the same time so it did get a bit crowded. But overall the cruise was a nice way to travel. After Luxor we flew back to Cairo where Ali had arranged for a lab technician to come to our apartment and do a Covid test. He also brought molasses from his home town as a gift. I could not recommend Ali and Wonders of Egypt enough. They are amazing and if you have ever wanted to see the Pyramids and treasures of one of the greatest and most interesting civilizations in history Ali is your man.
