Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - The Pyramids of Giza are a complex of three ancient Egyptian pyramids located in Giza, Egypt. They were built over 4,500 years ago as tombs for pharaohs. The largest pyramid, known as the Great Pyramid, is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is made of millions of limestone blocks and stands 146 meters tall. The other two pyramids are slightly smaller but still impressive in size. The Pyramids of Giza continue to be a major tourist attraction and a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization.
  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx is a large, ancient statue located on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, near the Pyramids of Giza. It is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. The statue stands 20 meters tall and 73 meters long, making it one of the largest and oldest statues in the world. Its construction dates back to the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2500 BC. The Sphinx is considered a symbol of strength and wisdom in ancient Egyptian culture and continues to be a popular tourist attraction and subject of fascination for visitors from around the world.

A fabulous way to experience Egypt! - This morning I had the pleasure of four hours in the company of Ibrahim Mohammed who became a very good friend while giving me an extraordinary insight to Egypt, it's famous monuments and the neighborhood. Ibrahim rolled up his sleeves in the very hot morning and climbed the pyramid hill without hesitation. He made it a point to take many wonderful photos to document our visit. Ibrahim, thank you my friend. Frank Fleetham from USA and staying in Novotel Airport Hotel.

A trip to Pyramids, Giza - In my travel to Egypt, I did a little different. Instead of going giza very first day, i kept it for the last and that day I only had 4hrs to see the Pyramids and then I had to catch the flight. We went early in the morning and I was impressed the guide was at my hotel reception at 6:30am to pick me up and we went to Giza where he explained me the history, took me to a spot from where I could have the panoromic view of the pyramids. Ibrahim (my tour guider) was so nice that he gave me the complimentary camel ride and then we enjoy our breakfast with Kushri. I enjoyed my trip a lot and I recommend everyone to go with Ibrahim (+201102372750). It's actually really worth it

The best of Egypt! - Thanks to Mahmoud Sayed of Respect Tours our trip to Egypt was exciting, fun, educational, and worry free! From our pickup at the airport to our tour of the pyramids and Old Cairo, we could not have asked for a more helpful and accommodating tour director. Mr Sayed’s attention to detail, and frequent ‘check in’s’ with us throughout our trip far exceeded our expectations. I look forward to our next trip to Egypt and will definitely seek out Mr Sayed and Respect Tours in the future!

Respect Tours are good. I'd use again. - Just brilliant. Tarek the tour operator with Adel, the chauffeur couldn't have done any more for us! From our initial encounter until our departure a week later, they made our visit to Cairo truly special. Tarek’s reasonable prices and insightful suggestions enhanced our journey. Adel’s patience and expertise in navigating Cairo’s bustling traffic were invaluable. Thanks to them, our time in Egypt was delightful, and we extend warm wishes for a Happy Ramadan to both Tarek and Adel! 🌟

Pyramids and the Sphynx, a full day! - Our advisor, Essam, was excellent. The actual tour was okay, but was made much better by our pyramid guide, Nasser. He was super explanatory and friendly. He took great pictures of us in front of the historical sites. Drawbacks were that we did not enjoy the horse carriage. The animals are under duress. Another drawback was that we were not prepared for the multiple stops to vendors of art, oils and perfumes, etc. You should have some money if you want to do this tour. Or make it clear that you want to just go to the sites you asked for. Our driver, Hussain was a nice guy who pointed out a few things. But I think he had a few more stops in mind when we asked to cut the trip short and return to the hotel. Again, Essam, the agent at the hotel was very helpful, and made us feel very safe and cared for. Take the tour, and enjoy.

Pure rip-off - I booked the trip at the Novotel 6th of October through the tour desk there, which belongs to this agency. The price was quoted to me as 80 euros, which I paid immediately. During the trip to Giza, the driver told me rather casually that the 80 euros was only for the approximately thirty-minute trip and later back. After this driver drove me to a papyrus shop (without prior agreement or notification) and I went through the procedure (how papyrus is made and then trying to sell it), we drove to another shop. There I had to pay around 100 euros for the actual tour to the pyramids in a carriage. The following tour with a coachman was admittedly really good and fun. After the tour, the coachman wanted another 30 euros, as he apparently doesn't get paid otherwise. After returning to the tour business, it turned into trying to sell perfumes, which would have been priced at a higher price in Europe. The fact that the (far too overpriced) 80 euros was only for the trips to Giza was never mentioned. The total 130 euros for the tour was just as overpriced, even though it was good. The delivery to shops was also not agreed upon. All in all, a rip-off tour. The second incident with the tour desk arose because the location of the hotel made it very difficult to find a taxi. To at least get to the Dream Park (about a 20-minute drive), the only option was to use the tour desk. The overpriced 50 euros were agreed upon, but I had to take them because there were no alternatives. Since I wanted to pay by card, the man at the tour desk typed in what seemed to be the corresponding amount in Egyptian pounds. Unfortunately, it only turned out after I returned to Germany that the actual value he typed into the machine and I paid was about 60 euros. So the already overpriced price was increased by a rip-off (admittedly this was also due to my naivety in this regard, but this does not excuse this behavior in any way). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this agency, at least not at the tour desk in the Novotel 6th of October, and even strongly advise against booking here.
