Amazing full day tour of Giza & historic sites - An amazing way to spend the day. We got to see everything on our list- the pyramids, ride a camel, go to the bazaar and so much more. It was a full day but done efficiently and thoroughly from start to finish. Highly recommend for a day of great sites and beautiful history. Our guide, Ahmed el Swedy was very knowledgeable and helpful as we navigated the sites, sharing great history and information. Our driver, Mohammed was quick and safe and our favorite in all our time in Egypt.

Ahmed's Education, Enlightenment, and Passion is Unmatched - The Saladin Citdal is located atop a hill right outside of central Cairo, about a 10min. taxi ride from Tahir Square. It Citadel complex is made up of several mosques, including the impressive Muhammad Ali Mosque. And while the complex has an austere beauty, one of my favorite parts was the view of Cairo from above. The royal mummy visit at the Museum was very interesting to see and they had well written signs to describe the mummies on the lower level. The main floor was arranged chronologically and went over Egypt's history from prehistoric times up to today. They also had a nice room that goes over Egypt's textile and modern royal family history. We appreciated that there were signs and descriptions for the majority of the museum. There is a gift shop and cafe that sell a good range of items at a fair price. Ahmed was a fantastic guide. Extremely knowledgeable on all things Egypt. I would highly recommend you use him in the future.

Amazing 2 Days - As our group of four only had 2 days free for sightseeing, we decided to hire a tour guide and a driver. We were so lucky to have Ahmed and his driver Matham show us around Cairo. Ahmed is both knowledgeable and personable. We always felt safe with Matham at the wheel and really feel that although our sightseeing time was limited we maximized our experience thanks to Ahmed.

Great times in Egypt! - We used Ahmed for 3 days of excursions. He was fantastic. We saw the pyramids, rode camels, 2 museums, several churches, several mosques, bazaar, memphis, saqqara, etc. Lunches every day were great. His driver, Islam, was fantastic too. Cairo traffic is horrible.... it was no worries for us with Islam driving. They showed up on time every day and we never waited for anything. Ahmed's knowledge of Egyptian history and artifacts was very thorough and impressive. All in all, it was a great time and I cant say enough good about Horus Egypt Tours. I highly recommend them.
