Visiting the pyramids? Go with Mo - Our tour of the pyramids in Giza, Memphis, and Saqqara was led by Mo, an Egyptologist who grew up in Giza. His expertise, and passion for Egyptian history made our trip extra special. And because he grew up frequenting these sites, he was able to both efficiently navigate us through main tourist path and also explore hidden gems that are off the beaten track. The tour was thoughtfully organized, ensuring we could experience the history and splendor of these ancient sites without the burden of excessive walking, which our older bones appreciated. Lunch at the BBQ place was also a real treat. Not only was the food and service great but the restaurant was also beautiful. Driver Haitham added to our comfort and enjoyment of this tour with his clean car and smooth driving across all locations. I typically get car sick but felt perfectly OK all day in Haitham's car. I highly recommend you book this comprehensive tour if you're looking to visit these locations. And if you do, ask specifically for Mo and Haitham.

Exactly the tour we hoped for 👏 - My partner and I were looking for a perfect day tour to highlight the history and locations of Cairo during our first stay in Egypt. After much research we gave Royal Egyptian Tours the go and were very glad we did. We were picked up on time by the A-team … Boogie (our guide) & Haitham (our driver) on time and made it to all the spots on our tour and lunch without feeling at all rushed. Boogie delivered rich historical details and knowledge of our destinations throughout the day with a attentive attitude and friendly smile. This also included great advice to maximise the best value activities and checking with us about optional experiences without being pushy. The lunch was delicious and ride was pleasant in a nice clean car. Our favourite place on the tour was Saqqara including a few hidden gems there of Boogie’s favourites. Overall a great experience for us and definitely recommend for anyone visiting Egypt for the first time or wanting to make the most of ancient Egypt in Cairo for a day.

Entertaining, educational tour of Egypt - Sugar Queen gave us a really memorable day. Most definitely knowledgeable within the realms of Egyptology and didn’t rush us. We were taken by private car (which was really nice) to various locations and also explained the history and thoughts behind the stories of Egyptian Pharaoh’s and Kings. Would definitely recommend her to anyone for an educational and entertaining day x

Collect them all in one day - Experience all pyramids in one day, in a cozy. We got a thorough explanation of ancient egyptian history chronologically. We had time at every pyramid to go in if we wanted to. The lunch was absolutely amazing.
