The mighty Pyramids of Giza will be your first stop. These are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one still surviving.
Egypt boasts more than 90 pyramids, but the Giza Plateau is home to the largest one in all of Egypt, known as “Khufu” or the Great Pyramid.
In this area, you’ll also find two other pyramids: “Khafre” and “Menkaure.” A king would build such a complex only after becoming a Pharaoh, not before.
Get a closer look at each pyramid, then move to the panoramic area where you can enjoy the most breathtaking view of all the pyramids. Our guide will help you take as many photos as you want. Then, prepare yourself for an exciting camel ride. Afterward, jump into your vehicle to move to the Great Sphinx, the tomb guard with a lion’s body representing strength and a Pharaoh’s head representing intelligence. Take a selfie with the Sphinx.
Before moving to your next destination, stop to explore the papyrus and perfume factories, which were essential in the mummification process.
- The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The Egyptian Museum first opened its doors in 1902. It was the first building in the world designed as a museum and includes over one hundred displays from different eras on its two floors.
For example, the Narmer Palette supports the idea that at some point in ancient times, the southern kingdom ruled by King Narmer defeated the northern kingdom and thus became one united kingdom. The museum also houses the statuette of Khufu, the owner of the Great Pyramid, and the famous collection of the young King Tutankhamun and his shrine. Once we are finished, we will make our way to the airport to catch your flight.
