Everything is afraid of time, but time is afraid of the pyramids. - Thank you for the surprising, varied and exciting tour of the pyramids and the National Museum. John impressed us with his warm and caring manner and brought us closer to the history of Egypt in an exciting way. I would skip the Papyrus Museum (it's just a very overpriced shop), but the rest was an unforgettable day trip to the highlights of Cairo. (P.S: If an Egyptian tells you "...it's ten kilometres to this spot... " take this information with a bit of sand.... And if you happen to like walking: tie your shoelaces a little tighter and just walk there :-D

Amazing Experience - The tour itself was breathtaking, and we were offered extra time at each location if needed. The camel ride to panoramic point was amazing and with lots of great photo opportunities. The lunch was delicious, the Cairo museum was awesome and the bazaar was really good. We had the most amazing time and can't wait to go again. Thank you.

Dissapointing - We were a little disappointed...booked a "5 star Nile Dining Cruse" prior to our full day Pyramid tour. Taxi sent by EF Tours missed the boat and we had to wait for around 90 minutes for the boat to return. Boat quality was 2 star, even for Egypt and we decided we couldn't risk eating on it and returned to the hotel having paid 60 US $ for the privilege of a long night of hanging around ....and no dinner!!. Pyramid tour was OK but the guide was very young, quiet and reserved and compared to later guides, didnt really tell us a lot. No theme to the Cairo Museum visit just a random walk around with little context and the whole thing just petered out after 5 hours vs the 7 hours we paid for. Not the best experience we have had either in Egypt or elsewhere across the world!

Pyramids were a knowledge of a lifetime.short visit at museum was a trauma - It was an amazing experience but l was so disturbed when l was told to pay for a cart ride around the pyramids, when l thought it's part of fully paid package.500 Egyptian pounds, was a rip-off .even worse, after the tour,l was taken to a jewelry shop where they charge in American dollars instead of Egyptian pounds but was told they are cheap.they were exorbitant.John couldn't help when l was held hostage, they demanded their money, about 10 men.very disturbing situation l won't forget

Poorly organized tour but a country with great history and beauty. - We had booked a guided tour from Egypt Fabulous Tours for four people: boat trip on the Nile from Assuan to a Nubien Village, a visit by Taxi to Abu Simbel followed by a guided trip in Cairo to visit the pyramids and the museum. Our two days in Cairo included lunch. We stressed that we were not interested in a shopping tour. The very short boat trip to the Nubien village showed the Nile from its best side but the visit of the village with caged in crocodiles was disappointing. We did not meet any locals and walked back to the boat through a shopping street offering the usual stuff, not made by locals. Next day, our guide was not allowed to accompany us into the Abu Simbel Temple. Had we been told that in advance we would not have undertaken the streneous taxi travel from Asuan to Abu Simbel which was 3 1/2 hours each way. Our guide in Cairo was very knowledgable but we were not happy to spend time in parfume and papyros production places which were focused on selling. (Luckily, we had booked an additional Nile cruise with a different company with an excellent organisation and guides which made up for our disappointment).

Don't waste your time and money - If you plan to visit boring shops, this is your tour. They don't care about you enjoying the trip. They just want to take you to shops, basically force you to take a came ride... And that's it.. Get another tour, don't waste your time and money.
