Hamy is awesome - We did multiple trips thru Egypt with EMO . Today our guide Hamy took us from Cairo to Alexandria. Great car and driver . Hamy took us to the catacombs, citadel, the library and a great lunch at a restaurant built in 1901. Hamy has been outstanding. One of the best experiences has been the long talks over lunch about culture , traditions and life in Egypt . He really wanted us to feel and understand Egyptian life as well as the history . What a special treat he was

Emo Tours is a fantastic company, with great people! - My friend and I decided to book multiple tours with EMO tours after having a great experience with our first tour in the Pyramids with Nesma. She was super friendly and the driver Ihab was polite and welcomed us with snacks and a friendly demeanour upon arrival at our hotel. Nesma was a breath of fresh air and a seasoned tour guide. We enjoyed this experience so much, we booked a boat cruise on the Nile for the same night with Ahmed. Both Ahmed and the driver were great. Because of a second good experience, we booked a THIRD tour for the following day to Alexandria. The EMO Tours company was overall FANTASTIC. They were friendly, fast, patient and made us feel very comfortable. For our Alexandria tour, our driver, Fares, welcomed us at our hotel with a friendly smile and made us feel like close friends; Our tour guide for Alexandria, Mohamed Salama, was amazing in his knowledge of Alexandria history and also made us feel like close friends. We enjoyed a day of laughs, questions, and beautiful photography. Mohamed knew all the great spots and where to take the best photos. I would definitely recommend any of my friends or family to use their services. They are a great value for the price, superior service, and welcoming hospitality from all employees. If you are thinking of doing any tours in Egypt, you will not be disappointed by this company and the great employees I mentioned. If we booked THREE times; I think it speaks for itself!

Day Tour From Cairo To Alexandria - This is a tour you will love. We had a Tour Guy Essam, He was very knowledgeable about the History of Egypt. The Tour was Amazing, his English was awesome also which helped guide the tour perfect. Essam’s will have your best interest at heart. Allow him to select the restaurant of choice. My husband and I had the most beautiful lunch together while viewing the Mediterranean Sea.

GypsyTravelerRN - I booked my ticket the day before and I must say I was very pleased with this tour! My tour guide Saeyd Shokry, showed up on time in my hotel lobby to pick me up with a private driver and car. He was very pleasant and speaks good English. He took me to all the places in the itinerary, an added bonus Pompei's Pilar, and explained all the history that goes along with it. He was very nice to even help me navigate steps, take my pictures, and didn't rush me at all. We went to have lunch and he stayed with me the whole time during the trip even on his breaks. Visiting Egyot was a very memorable experience for me! So much history and simply magnificent! A must see!!

Gaza Pyramids from Alexandria Port - Because I use a walker, I was not sure if I could get close to the pyramids at all. But--Medhat our guide and Ashraf our driver we're both so helpful, kind and accommodating. I got up close and was able to take all those silly pictures of putting your fingertip on the point of the pyramid, kissing the Sphinx, etc! Afterwards we went to lunch (very good) the Papayrus museum, Memlouk Jewelry, the NMEC (National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.) Medhat never tired and was happy and smiling our entire trip. We had a long, tiring, eventful and fascinating day. Our driver was able to get me close to all the sights so I didn't have to walk too far anywhere. I would highly recommend EMO tours for your guides. Ours was private just for the two of us. What an experience. The only cumbersome part was that Port pickup was not possible for security reasons. So we had to cab to the meeting point had to wait because they were delayed due to traffic. The cab driver and our driver made the arrangements. Overall a great time! Thank you both.

Sites were incredible, animal cruelty and tour guide were not - --Marwa was our tour guide and was knowledgable but very pushy and didn't like when we refused her upsales. She wanted us to pay for personalized jewelry, perfume/oils, papyrus factory, and camel rides and asked multiple times despite saying no several times. She also tried to get us to stop at her rental apartment during our short time in Cairo. She consistently didn't respect our preferences (e.g., not going into a very narrow, steep tunnel at the pyramids due to claustrophobia, not eating things due to severe allergies, and not jumping for a photo that we didn't ask for on a steep incline). Her friendly demeanor disappeared as we declined her upsales, and she rushed us through the sites after that. She insisted on getting our contact information and social media accounts. --The driver was very safe and polite --The pick up location was stressful since the port had a lot of buses and vans waiting at the same location/time, making it hard to find the correct van, especially since the driver did not speak English and the tour guide was a little late showing up --A LOT of animal cruelty at the pyramids. They whip the half-starved horses, donkeys, and camels frequently. Many of the animals had visibly infected open wounds from their abuse. We didn't see a single horse, donkey, or camel that didn't show signs of abuse. --Actually seeing the pyramids and the Cairo museum was amazing. --For cruise ship passengers: there is definitely limited time if you only have the day, so set your expectations accordingly. They did a very nice job of getting us back to the port in time for our departure, though. --The tour guide insisted we go to a perfume/oil demonstration at a local shop (which was not included in the tour description and not something we wanted to do with our limited time), which took some of our time from the museum, which was a disappointment. The people giving the demonstration were very nice, professional and not pushy, which was appreciated. --She gave a very rushed, disorganized tour of the Cairo museum to highlight a few important artifacts then left us while she went to get herself lunch (she did offer to pick up food for us as well, but we had allergies). We then started back at the beginning to figure out the museum ourselves. Many of the plaques were in English, which was nice and it was laid out overall in a timeline, so easy enough to navigate on our own, thankfully. --Minimally available bathrooms, all require tipping. Bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. --The stops on this tour do not require headscarves for females

Terrible daytrip from Alexandria from Cairo - We were cheated and did not have the tour as decriben on Emo homepage. Lenght of the tour: • We wered picked up at 07:00 as planned but we where back at the hotel at 17:00 (with traffic) so that makes our tour at least 2 hours shorter than it was supposed to be, according to the website. • Ahmed (the guide) stopped at each place for a very short period of time and did not give us any time to walk around the area to have a closer look at things or to take photos. No lunch at local restaurant as stands on the webside: • Ahmed kept pushing us to finish visiting all of the sites before eating lunch and did not mention a local restaurant as an option. We ended up with one shawarma each and had to eat it in the car on the go, that was not very nice, nor comfortable. Some places skipped: • We only stopped in front of the Citadel for about 5 minutes and took like 2 pictures from a far distance, he did not offer us to go inside (and the citadel where the lighthouses last stones were used to build the Citadel of Qaitbay) or go closer, when we asked he told us it was empty inside anyways and nothing to see. That left us with only 5 minues at the Citadel. • We stopped at the roman theatre but only for 8 minutes and we where rushed out of there. • Then after the library we had to push him to let us see the library and the bay form the out side as we wanted to take photos of the cornish. He was rude and told us it was not included (a walk on the Quatbay was in the description) but we pushed him and he gave us a 5 min stop on the side of the street, all while eating our shawarma and take a quick photo shoot. • He did not take us to see El Mursi Abu Elabas so we did not even go to that area or get to take our free walk on the corniche. Emo tours - have apologised and refunded 1/3 of the price. However, that will not bring to me the things I wanted to se in Alexandria and did not see, aparently this Guied who took os on the trip, can not be trusted.
