- Pyramids of Giza - The guide will collect guests from the hotel to commence the tour of the pyramids. These were all constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also features several cemeteries and the remnants of a workers’ village. The tour begins with a stop in front of the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Cheops, which is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, with the option to enter it.
Next, there is a stop at the panoramic area of the Pyramids to enjoy a stunning view of the three pyramids and take photographs, with the possibility of a short camel ride. The tour continues past the Pyramid of King Chephren and King Miquerinos until reaching the Great Sphinx.
- Great Sphinx - The tour then proceeds to visit the Great Sphinx, dating back to the time of Khafre. The Great Sphinx is located on the east side of the complex. It is a colossal sculpture with the body of a lion and a human head, built during the reign of King Khafre around 2500 B.C.
Explore the renowned Valley Temple, constructed from red granite, where King Khafre was mummified and where the famous Khafre statue, now housed in the Egyptian Museum, was discovered.
- Grand Egyptian Museum - Following the visit to the pyramid complex, the tour heads to the largest archaeological museum in the world: the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Situated near the Pyramids of Giza, the GEM houses over 100,000 artifacts of ancient Egyptian history.
With this tour, guests will have the chance to explore the modern galleries, view the colossal statue of Ramses II at the main entrance, and delve into thousands of years of Egyptian history and culture.
The Egyptologist guide, who speaks Portuguese, will accompany the tour, providing an enriching experience with detailed explanations and captivating stories.
