Pyramids of Giza - After being picked up from your location, embark on a unique journey with your local guide. Hop into your air-conditioned vehicle and head to the Pyramids area. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the magnificent Great Pyramid of Cheops. Your guide will provide detailed explanations about its construction, purpose, and the people behind it, answering any questions you may have.

Memphis and Sakkara - Next, your local guide will take you to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. You’ll explore the village of Mit Rahina and visit a fascinating museum dating back to the New Kingdom around 1200 BC. The museum houses the ruins of Ramses II’s temple, dedicated to the god Ptah, the deity of knowledge and Memphis. You’ll also see the colossal statue of King Ramses II, which, although partially damaged, still measures 10.5 meters. Originally, it stood over 14 meters tall. Then, proceed to the oldest pyramid ever built, the Step Pyramid of Zoser in Saqqara. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Egyptian Museum - The Egyptian Museum in Cairo boasts 120,000 artifacts, making it the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. The first floor features an extensive collection of papyrus, as well as Greek, Roman, and Islamic coins from the ancient world. The highlight is the Gold Mask of Tutankhamun.

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Your next stop is the Saladin Citadel, an Islamic fortification on El Mokattam Hill near Cairo’s center. Built to protect Cairo from Crusader attacks, the citadel complex includes several significant buildings, such as the renowned Muhammad Ali Mosque, modeled after the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. You’ll also visit Al-Gawhara Palace, Muhammad Ali’s official audience hall, which houses a 1,000 kg chandelier gifted by Louis-Philippe I of France and Muhammad Ali’s throne, a gift from the King of Italy. At the end of the day, you’ll be transferred back to the tour’s starting point.
