Monet's Gardens - This was an amazing day trip. We were picked up at the door of our flat in the Latin quarter and guided through the entire tour. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He also gave us space to explore on our own. I felt he catered to our wants and needs and was not overbearing. The price was worth the experience.

Simply stunning exceeded our expectations - Visited last week in some lovely warm sunny weather with pre-booked tickets, and so glad we had when saw the long queue. These tickets have their own entry gates without any queuing! The gardens are simply stunning better than i remembered. I do think they have under planted with many more colourful plants both annuals and perennials. The primary reason to visit was the roses, and they didn't disappoint. But the gardens were very, very busy and because the paths are narrow it would make sense to limit numbers entering. Some paths were closed which made the few open tight to pass other visitors, including school parties. The queue to visit the house was long and we had been in previously so gave that a miss. Unfortunately the same in the shop,a huge queue snaking around the shop moving slowly and so gave up on that too. There is a nice picnic area by the museum with benches etc and shade from fruit trees which was welcome. All in all it was enjoyable and memorable. Recommended for couple of hours, especially when the roses are in bloom, pre-book and go early.

A lovely day - Our guide arrived on time at our hotel to take us to Giverny. Christophe was very nice and friendly. We were expecting to get a little information on the drive out but he gave us a nice tour once we arrive at Monet’s house. We appreciated that he ensured we arrived just as the site opened before it became crowded and gave us great suggestions for pictures around the grounds.
