Christopher was prompt,... - Christopher was prompt, very pleasant, and informative. The hour and a half drive to and from Monet’s home and garden was very pleasant with Christopher. He showed us around and let us have time to explore on our own. Definitely the highlight of our visit to Paris. Fulfilled a lifetime dream.

Monet’s garden and house - There was so much to see and a very well kept garden and of course the famous lily pond. The house was very interesting too.

Highly recommended excursion - Excellent choice. Rosa, our guide-driver, accompanied the hour-long journey from Paris with extensive explanations of the Norman countryside and the life of Monet. Giverny is a beautiful village. We had the opportunity to see the gardens and the house, with the company of the guide, who explained everything we needed. Essential!

Giverny is Monet magic - Giverny is magical. The gardens are outstanding and some of the flowers are spectacular! The house is small and a bit of a squeeze with all the tourists but it’s important to visit so as to get an idea of the artist at home and in his workshop. One thing I learned was his love for Japanese art. The house is full of them. Also the kitchen had a wonderful collection of shiny copper pans very evocative! There’s a little village nearby that’s worth a look. Also the sandwich and coffee shop. I’d have given the review a 4 as our guide was somewhat hit & miss. He knew the history and colour but chose to share it somewhat haphazardly.

Fabulous but very crowded - The experience at the house and gardens is amazing, just be aware there will be big crowds, we were there at 10am and could barely move around due to the amount of people, the house was overcrowded, in the gardens there was so many people it was a traffic jam, it’s a great experience and I’d recommend it but just expect the crowds.

Gardens - Garden, House Water Lillies were very nice. It was not worth the price of the tour. An Uber would have been less expensive.

Unjustified influx - The gardens are nothing fancy and also kept not so well, they are very crowded and the route signs are insufficient. Even in the house there is nothing special, period furniture and a series of reproductions; the only piece of note is the “cheap kitchen”, a real “out of series” for the time. The price is definitely exaggerated for what is offered. Considering that I am also “out of the way” I can’t understand so much turnout.

Over rated and not worth the visit - Far too busy and because of no crowd control and restricting visitor numbers - it’s just a very unpleasant experience. We didn’t manage to get in the house as the queue was about a mile long and in blazing heat too hot to join. Also couldn’t find the exit because of the volume of bodies. Went out the entry gate and was shouted out for doing this. Instead of paying to visit an overgrown messy garden, a house you can’t get into, go straight to the art gallery where it’s got air con, and less busy. The cafe is VERY slow with service.
