Fantastic tour, fantastic guide! - The tour was fascinating! Well worth it for sure. Our guide Miguel was amazing. He is very knowledgeable, he had a very deep, extensive knowledge of every aspect of the region. He grew up in Girona so it was a very personal tour. His knowledge of the Jewish history and philosophy was outstanding, he really put everything in perspective, and his particular interest in philosophy elevated the tour significantly, this was an amazing tour, and Miguel is an amazing guide!!!!!

You should really do this day... It was AMAZING! - This was an amazing tour for our two families who were traveling togther and truly a hightlight for everyone of our week in Spain. We were three adults, four teens and everyone was incredibly happy with this day. Girard was our tourguide and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. He related to every person in our group with ease and interest... and was so informative and knowledgable. It was a pure pleasure to spend the day with him! He truly seems to love his job and the information he has to share - and that is infectious in the best of ways! And the history itself is fascinating. I have spent much more time thinking about what I learned and the history I experienced on our one day in Girona and Besalu then I have from our five days in Barcelona. I can't recommend this tour enough. Truly worth the effort to get to Girona if you are staying in Barcelona.

Private tour of Girona - We had a private tour of the old city of Girona, Spain and had a great time. Our tour guide, Mark was excellent. He provided a tremendous amount of history which gave us a greater appreciation for the beautiful city. Mark was able to give us the insight to the sites in the city that were filmed in the Game of Thrones which we all enjoyed. We were fortunate to have met Mark early in the morning so our tour was not croweded and we were able to get many beautiful pictures withour a lot of tourists. We would recommend taking the private tour and highly recommend asking for Mark.

Fantastic Tour with Awesome Guide & Driver! - Our private tour with Carmen and Marc was fantastic! We saw so much and Marc even adjusted our tour when he heard we were Game of Thrones fans. We loved learning the Jewish History and the places we toured were amazing! What a fantastic day we had and our pictures are treasures! We made memories to last a lifetime! Very comfortable and safe ride with Carmen and Marc is very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and professional. He made sure we enjoyed every minute of our tour. Our family loved the lunch of Tapas Marc suggested. It was great to see the clips of Game of Thrones on his iPad and then go to that exact location on our tour. We are so grateful we chose this tour and would highly recommend any tour with Carmen and Marc.

Great tour with knowledgeable and delightful guide - We were in Barcelona for a three day holiday and decided to spend one day in Girona. It was a day well spent: an easy commute by train to beautiful Girona and Besalu. Marc met us at the train, and spent the day with us, taking us to the Jewish (and non-Jewish) sites. Girona is a city not to be missed, especially for anyone interested in Jewish history. It was the Ramban's hometown, and at its peak had 1,000 Jews. Besalu was even more of a hidden gem, since it has one of the oldest Mikveh's in Europe, hidden away in a picture book town. THank you Marc for a great experience. You met our every need and taught us so much about Girona and Catalonia.
