Additional Information

We embark on our BRAND NEW 2019 BOAT journey trailing the coastline of Cap de Creus Nature Park, making our way to Cadaqués. Here, you will have an uninterrupted break of 90 minutes to walk around and appreciate this stunningly scenic fishing village.

Situated amidst the many towns and hamlets that dot the Costa Brava, one distinct settlement shines through due to its unique character and originality: Cadaqués. Nestled on the east of the Cap de Creus peninsula, it’s often touted as the jewel of the Costa Brava, with its history reaching back to the time when the Ibers used to rule these areas. The term ‘Cadaqués’ could possibly have come about from the morphing of ‘Cap de Quers’ (cape of stones), attributed to the multitude of stones found on the Cap de Creus.

Cadaqués is renowned for attracting a myriad of artists, with Salvador Dalí being particularly notable. Many of Dalí’s artworks have drawn inspiration from the landscapes of the Cap de Creus. His residence in Portlligat has now been converted into a house-museum which is open for public viewing.

Excellent experience - Excellent service from the girls on the Rambla de Roses who sold us the trip. Good service on the boat and Cadaqués is beautiful. All the recommendations were very useful.

Wonderful boat trip to charming town - We thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip to Cadaqués. Sitting on the upper level gave us a great view of the ocean and the coastline. If you want to sit on the side closest to the coast, be sure to get in line early. There is no reserved seating. The staff were great and punctual. The recorded explanation in five languages was helpful.

Awesome release - Very nice discovery, thank you to Camélia for her kindness, her advice, in short, her professionalism. Camélia gives you the right tips to make the most of this getaway. We took the first boat to leave and the last one to return, we spent the whole day. Thank you Camélia for this superb outing.

Enjoyable Boat Tour - This round trip tour starts in Roses, although we only took the Cadaques to Roses return portion. It takes about 45 minutes in each direction. The boat is comfortable with good seating in open air and below deck. It may have been improved with the provision of more commentary and information on the trip. The boat company agent in Cadaques (Sylvia?) was very friendly and helpful.

Poor customer service at white rose next store - Next at white rose had so many idle staff on the till and yet no staff to help us get correct shoe size. So many were like us

CADAQUES exit - Nice outing at sea. The announcement of underwater vision made me decide to take this boat but that is not true. No access to the bottom of the boat, which I really regretted. 1h30 in Cadaques is too short to do everything.
