Fantastic experience, 100% recommend! - We were little hesitant of doing white water rafting during our stay in bali, but we took the leap and did NOT regret it. We had the time of our lives with Bintang Bali water rafting, the guides were super fun, entertaining and knowledgeable. We felt safe the whole time and enjoyed that there were both exciting fast rapids and also relaxing, serene moments of just floating down the stream. At the end, we even got to hop out of the boat and float on our backs under beautiful greenery. I would recommend that between your group, you bring 1 phone that your tour guide will put in a waterproof bag, as there is a couple of photo ops where you get out of the raft, and your guide can take photos of you under the waterfall. There is also a stop along the way which you can purchase snacks and a drink at! Our stuff was kept in a locker at the venue and there was decent showers that we got to use afterwards as well as a decent lunch to fill up on if your a little bit hungry afterwards. Keep in mind that there are lots of stairs down and up from the stream, BUT they were 100% worth it and are definitely do-able for able-bodied people! 1000000% recommend and we would absolutely do this experience again!!

Memorable & very safe ( from an 11 yr old) - From doing this experience I would highly recommend this activity to anyone at any age. And only being 11, going into this activity was definitely a major highlight of our time in Ubud. The instructors were very helpful and made our first time white water rafting very memorable, the change rooms were okay and it was nice to have them to provide lunch at the end of this experience. So if you're in Ubud/ Bali 100% check out Bali Bintang white water rafting!!

White water rafting- safe and fun - We are both in our early 60’s and it was our first time rafting. Everything is very well organized and each boat has a guide who looks after his crew and makes sure you know what to do and are ok. The trip along the river was so fun and the scenery was stunning. The guide was great fun and made sure we all had a good time. I could have spent the whole day on the river! Buffet lunch was fantastic too, plenty to eat after the ride. The stairs are not so fun! 365 on the way down and 250 on the way up. They are concrete so and they do not rush you up or down so although you get a good workout, it is doable. I would go again - once my legs recover!

Unforgettable experience!! - This experience was honestly one of the best parts of our holiday! Absolutely stunning scenery winding through the jungle and getting to see a side of Bali that most tourists never see. Baron was our guide and we felt very safe at all times! His playfulness and jokes had my 2 children in laughter throughout and he was able to share so much information about Balinese culture with us too! Will definitely be back to do this again!!!

Recommend these guys for a laugh and enjoyable experience - Brilliant value for money! Approx $40aud each excluding photos which were $20aud for all 20 or so images for our group of 4. The guide Barong was informative but also a stack of fun. We tipped him a little extra because he made our 2hr experience incredibly hilarious and fun. Rafting was not super challenging but yet enough to keep you on your feet. Highly recommend this particular company. On our tour we saw extraordinary cliff face carvings I've never seen in my life so make sure you take a go pro to film along the way. Be careful, there are 400 steps down to raft, them 200 back up again. A small price to pay for a great afternoon!

Great fun, but be prepared - Two fit 50 year olds had this booked through our driver. Did ATV in the morning and this in the afternoon. It went for a couple of hours with a rest stop half way. One of our other passengers was a little delicate and just decided not to paddle and it threw out the directions a little. Even her partner was yelling at her to paddle, in another language and we just laughed. It was a long walk with many steps down at the beginning and again at the end. My legs were like jelly. If you’re knees are not good, you won’t cope with this. We were told to wear good shoes and so our very expensive hiking boots got saturated. They survived but the walk up was very squelchy. The guide was nice. Again, not as much instruction of safety stuff as you’d get in Australia or other countries but we’ve done this before. Expect to work, it’s not a Disneyland ride. For two days later my quads and arms were sore. I didn’t need to bring my drink bottle as the rest stop at the side of the river sells drinks and you stand on the riverbank drinking and having a snack or whatever they sell. It’s quite shaded but wear sunscreen. Bathers with stuff over the top. If you’re silly enough to wear bikini bottoms and not shorts, your butt will be scratched and chaffed. After the long uphill walk, we got in a Ute truck and drove back to the base. On the way up we were harassed a lot by people trying to sell us clothes and it was super annoying. They were literally standing in the way and shoving stuff in our faces. The showers at base are quite ordinary so a quick rinse and change. Then there was a smorgasbords of food for second lunch. You’re hungry and eat it and didn’t think of food safety. Which I probably should have, given that it might have come back to haunt me later. Overall, I would do this again, but be better prepared.

Great but short - The trip was nice. This company is the cheapest Tour and worth it. It is just also the shorter Trip version and you have to get there by yourself. Next to this everything was fine and well organized. Just I couldn't book the Tour for adults and children. Thus I had to book for adults, even that I took children with me.... But I guess this is a problem of the TripAdvisor Plattform and not from the Tour company

Well organised, professional, some downtime - This event was well organised, safe, and had friendly and helpful staff. Some downsides were the 30 minute wait after the scheduled start time before the activity started, the longish rest break part way through the session. I would go again with this operator, hopefully at a different time of the year when the river level is a little higher. There is a number of steps down to and back up to the river, but this is common to many rafting tours I understand.
