Although we didn't have our kids with us, this would be perfect for family adventurers! - It was a great time! Wayan picked us up from our hotel and was a great driver. Lovely to chat to - he had lots of local knowledge to share. There is a bit of a trek down to the river, but it was through beautiful fields and rainforest. The rafting is brilliant for first-timers -definitely not too wild a ride! Everyone in our group felt safe the whole time, and the guides really kept the entertainment level up for the whole journey too. With so many tourists through the area, a bit of rubbish is inevitable, but these guys seemed to be doing their best to keep the area clean while we were there. The river and surrounding forest/jungle was spectacular with a couple of bonus waterfalls! Thank you Bali Ari Tours! 🙏

Great fun! - Great fun! Everything is taken care of perfectly. Rafting, swimming in the river, waterfalls and great sceneries. We also saw some monkeys.

You have to do the rafting trip in Bali - Amazing rafting trip. Just the perfect amount of rapids which made it exciting but not too scary. Beautiful scenery and great guides. Many great photo opportunities.

Wonderful experience - Our guide Ari was amazing. The pickup and drop vehicles were also very clean and the river rafting experience was great. Very well organised and polite staff. We were a group of 17 people and everybody loves it, we would definitely do it again

White Water Rafting Fun - We had a great time on this white water rafting experience. Our driver, Wayan, was on time for pick up, informative and a friendly host. You have to wait a bit at the start before being given your helmets, life jackets and paddles. There are lockers there too if you have any larger items. Then a truck ride to a hike down a lot of slippery stairs. Despite this, flip flops are the way to go, rather than sneakers. Our river guide was fun and very experienced. There is a lot of joking around along the way, but you will always be instructed on when to hold on at the right moments. If you have phones with you, either use a sealable lanyard bag or you can store them in the dry bag on the boat. You just can’t take drinks with you in case they spill, but you can purchase coconut water or other drinks/snacks at the midway rest point and pay at the end. The rapids are a bit more exciting at the start, but there are some equally fun spots further downstream, especially the final waterslide. Prepare to get soaked, laugh, scream and enjoy the ride! Plenty of young kids were along for the ride too, and as long as they hold on, seem pretty safe. Bit of a stair climb at the end, but it’s a welcome chance to stretch the legs after being on the boat for so long. Not that I’m complaining, being on the boat was fun! You will have the opportunity to purchase photos and videos at the end which were taken from the shore. Just take note, these are quite expensive. There is a serviceable buffet lunch after showering and changing into your dry clothes. It is a well run enterprise, and well worth it for the fun times you’ll have and the gorgeous views of nature. Rafting - Great experience from start to finish. The rafting was wonderful. And the tour guide is very helpful. It was safe and a lot of fun.

Fun day dampened by plastic debris everywhere! - The trip in itself was very good, we had lots of fun and our guide was entertaining. The lunch provided was simple but adequate. My biggest complain is for the fact that the river is filthy, full of plastic debris. It really dampened by experience as you come across beautiful forests, birds, lizards, goannas, monkeys and butterflies but then the surrounding where the animals live is full of rubbish. There was even a deflated rafting boat stuck on a rock whilst we were there. You'd think, with the amount of companies using the same river area, they could all get together and do a yearly clean up to make the journey more enjoyable for everyone. The area when you come off the boats was disgusting, full of rubbish. This should have been cleaned up. I won't recommend rafting in Ubud, the river deserves to be looked after and the local companies are not doing that all.
