On this excursion, we’ll depart from Rome in a Mercedes, chauffeured privately, and head towards the wooded area of Castelli Romani. Known for its superior wines and select grapes, this region is also renowned for its delectable food offerings like ‘porchetta’, charcuterie, oil, and cheese. We’ll explore the vineyard that reaches towards the city as well as the wine cellar where the wines undergo fermentation. Led by the cellar master, we’ll partake in an exquisite wine tasting event within a stunning 18th-century farmhouse. The wines will be paired with delectable local delicacies. We’ll capture memories with photos, pay a visit to the wine shop before heading back to the city with our chauffeur. This tour provides an opportunity to enjoy the surroundings of a serene location, enveloped in verdant natural beauty, a perfect getaway from the city life to spend some hours unwinding.

Wine tasting adventure - Our driver was fabulous. Once we got to the winery, we were greeted by the owner and the sommelier Eleanora. She took us on a tour of the winery and explained the process they use to make their wines. We then headed inside to taste 3 different wines with food pairings. The wines were over the top and the venue was beautiful!

Italian wines in the countryside! - After confusion on where to pick us up at our hotel, driver finally found us, and it was a long hour ride out of the city of Rome. But once we arrived at the winery, it was gorgeous. We went to the winery of Santa Benedetta. We were met by the owners son, Luca, who was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and very professional. The wine and the food pairings were incredible. The downside was the drive back, our driver, Mauro said that we were 15 minutes late and he may a very hostile drive back to Rome!!!! I highly recommend the winery tour, be careful if you get Mauro as a driver!!!

Above and beyond! - Fantastic experience so close to Rome! We completely enjoyed the experience and the driver went out of his way to talk about places we haven’t been and even drove us around to see some! And I’m not talking about the six hotspots in Rome! This is our third time in Rome so we have already seen those.

Lovely Historic Country winery - The most enjoyable one on one experience with an old historical scenic Italian winery. The owner and sommelier were extremely pleasant. Our driver, Patrick was very informative and kind! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic escape from the city! - We were picked up by a wonderful driver who was so friendly and had so much knowledge. It was a beautiful escape from the warm city with delicious wines and some great samples of food. A nice break and a lovely day

Hospitality second to none - From the moment we met our debonair driver, Peter, we knew we were in for a fantastic day. Every person we interacted with at the vineyard was absolutely lovely and had an incredible sense of warmth and humor. The wine and food were plentiful and delicious. This lovely tour is a perfect option for when you need a little break from the hustle of the city!
