Enjoyed our historical tour of Genoa - Pietro was very knowledgeable about Genoa and gave us a detailed historical tour. It’s a good tour if you’re a history buff.

Personalised and informative tour - Having a local guide only enhances your experience. Andrea helped us understand the city of Genoa and what it had to offer. We walked from the old town to the new including the beautiful views from above. He customised the tour to suit my requests and this helped me understand some history about Genoa. Eye opening experience - Our personal guide Pietro was introducing "his Genova" to us by setting focal points, using clear storytelling and walking the speed to really understand Genova. His personality, intimate knowledge about Genova, empathy and way of answering all questions made the tour a fascinating experience and opened our eyes.

Amazing Genova - This tour was one of the best in terms of stories behind the landmarks and the guide, Andrea. I was very happy with what we covered on a short tour, history, art, wine, and food recommendations. Hats off and great job.

Genoa we loved you! - We loved our visit with André our Francophone guide. He has a great knowledge of the history of Genoa, its places and treasures. He gave us a very nice route to see the important places according to the evolution of Genoa. We recommend this tour and this guide with whom we had a lot of fun!

Great time. - Fulvio was pretty great. And knew so much about the city. The walking was a lot. And the city is hilly. But it was totally worth it as I saw so much history of a beautiful city. A great guide makes a difference.

Tour cancelled by operator the evening before. - The evening before the tour we were contacted by the tour operator wishing to change our 9am 3-hour tour to the following day. I explained this wasn’t possible as we were coming into Genoa on a cruise ship and the ships itinerary was fixed.
He then asked if we would move our private (2 pers) tour to a group of five pers and not starting until 2:30pm. This was also unacceptable to us.
We had difficulty in communicating with our assigned guide from the start and although we reached out to him several times over 48 hours he would not reply. This was a huge red-flag for us but we decided to let it slide as reviews were overall positive for this tour.
We should have listened to our initial instincts….. and I wasn’t at all surprised at the cancellation but it did ruin our plans and left us scrambling to save our vacation day in port.
