Fun way to see the area. - Great way to see the area. There are 2 routes and we took both. Weather was perfect and we really enjoyed both routes.

Worth every penny - It’s like personal bus for the whole say. Good time intervals and area covered. We hopped on and off many times and covered so much city in one day. Guides were pretty intwresting to listen to as well

First HOHO experience - This was my first HOHO experience. Really appreciated the two routes here in Genoa. I used the bus multiple times! In the beginning to get a feel for the city and then to actually HOHO at places I wanted to visit.

Don’t use the bus due to poor weather - It was a rainy overcast day so we didn’t use the service. We stayed with the luxury of the cruise ship. I’m giving 4 stars as I know others we are traveling with swear by the HOHO

Hop on hop off fine. Skip this port - The hop on hop off was just fine. The port of Genoa was not a nice port at all. I don’t have anything more to say about the port.

Can only be endured with absolute relaxation - First, the buses don't start at the promised times. Then the rhythm of 1 hour (which is already too long, especially in the cold season) is not adhered to. One bus was canceled: waited almost an hour. The app is supposed to indicate in real time which bus is where - no indication. According to the app, we ran after him, then according to the app he stopped. When we caught up with him, there was no bus at all - catastrophe. In winter you can also start late (after 10) and finish early (just after 4) and that for the same price as in summer; borders on impudence. Information on the bus from different speakers, all of which were loud at different levels. More music than information. The music only consisted of 4 pieces, 3 of which were baroque and 1 was classical - scary. It's just a shame that there is no hop-on-hop-off alternative.

My worst CitySightseeing tour so far - - Too few buses: only one bus per route - Sometimes long stops at individual stops - Hotline not reachable: 3 calls between 3:45 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. remained unanswered, after which my phone number was apparently blocked and the hotline was no longer reachable permanently. - Incorrect information when buying tickets: According to the staff at the port, buses run every 30 minutes, but in reality they run about 1 hour apart. - Information on the two routes is generally interesting, but at least 50% identical. If only two buses are available, both should run a single route so that you can take a bus at least every 30 minutes and the information on two routes does not overlap so often.

One and done. Done with one. - View blocked by window advertising. Map audio and sites mismatched hard to follow. A lot of the audio terminal for headphones didn’t work. Very difficult to follow along. It was exhausting and confusing in an extreme turmoil of chaotic crowded traffic. One and done

Pointless bus tour - The sound didn’t work which is the whole point. When we asked they said it hadn’t worked all morning & was a problem with “central command”. We got off after half an hour. When we requested a refund, they said the tour was “non-cancellable” under any circumstances. They ended up giving us half credit on their app. There were other options. I would recommend trying something else.
