Claudia gave us a very... - Claudia gave us a very comprehensive tour of old and newer Geneve. She also responded to our request for some look at architecture as we as scenery and history and was generous with her knowledge. We really enjoyed our tour.

Private is the go - Very personal and worthwhile. Having a private tour is something I have never done, however was fantastic and gave me more time to ask lots of questions and learn so much more. Thanks for a great tour Agnes :)

The best tour - Niels was a terrific tour guide. He was very informative, energetic and made the trip like a dream. For those wondering whether to pay extra to take the cable car ride on Mont-Blanc and cog railway to the glacier cave the answer is definitely YES! My husband and I have taken many tours over the years and Niels is a 10 out of 10.

Short 150% Tour - It was a very attentive and easy to understand guide who took us to various places in the short space of two hours.
The free public transportation ticket information that you gave us beforehand was economical and useful in many places.

The guide wasn't really... - The guide wasn't really knowledgable. We could have followed the map and seen the same sitesor better. We tried to ask questions but her English wasn't that good. The tour was not the full 4 hours. She had better stories about her homeland then Geneva.

disappointing private Geneva tour - Our tour was actually quite disappointing. The longer we stay in Geneva, the more we realize how little was covered on this 5 hour tour. We expected a tour of the old town, however Phillip just took us to the Cathedral and then we immediately left the old town without seeing any other parts or hearing anything interesting about its history. We did not see the Armory, the Madeleine Chapel or the Reformation wall, did not hear any stories about the old town.
instead we spent hours walking along the waterfront and in the parks. When I asked about seeing the Broken Chair, Phillip said it is really boring and took us back to the waterfront.
We learned very little about the history Geneva and Switzerland.
When we returned to the hotel, i looked up what one would consider must see spots in Geneva and was disappointed in how little had been covered during the tour.
Today we went on a chocolate tasting tour with another company and the guide took us around the old town, and shared so much information about different buildings and their significance even though it was not the focus of today’s tour. She did not miss an opportunity to tell us something interesting about what we were walking by. Phillip on the other hand missed every opportunity. A good example-we walked by the mausoleum with him, he did not mention anything, whereas today we heard a very interesting story about it. I imagine there were countless other opportunities missed on sites and facts that should have been covered by Phillip yesterday.
i cannot with clear conscience recommend this tour or Phillip as a guide to anyone.

Guydeez - can't find guides for booked and paid tours !!!! - I booked an Italian tour of Geneva with Guydeez 15 days before. And about 48 hours earlier I was told that they didn't find the guide available. I have never had a Tour accepted and paid for and then found myself less than 48 hours without the tour and unable to find viable alternatives and waiting for the refund that will arrive within (hopefully) 14 days.
Bad experience.

Tour of Geneva - Our guide was a wonderful person, but struggled with English and the history of Geneva so the tour was not worth what we paid. Rather disappointing as this was our first and perhaps last trip to Geneva.
