A day of respect for our Anzacs - My wife and I we're well looked after on our day out to visit this important Anzac site. A few teething problems with the in vehicle communications equipment was overcome relatively quickly. Safe driving, at ease nature of our guide and a continuous supply of cool bottled water are cornerstones to a road trip tour - these were all met to a high standard.

Great tour a must for every Aussie - This was an amazing experience. Ekram was knowledgeable about the area and accommodating with my husband who gets car sick when not driving.
The experience ia something every Australian must do and doing it as a private tour is so worth it
Pro tip leave as early as you can and then you get to see the locations before all the other tours get there. It was truly amazing to be the only ones at the sites

An amazing historical and cultural trip with a quality guide and expert company. - We had a fantastic day trip for our family of 4 with a great driver and extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide Mustafa. We were collected promptly by our driver in our clean and spacious Mercedes van at 8am from our hotel, before picking up Mustafa en route. Mustafa pointed out sites on the trip and outlined Istanbuls uniqueness and history as a city. With experience as a qualified guide, great English and a history including living in Australia we were able to learn so much, including our two younger teens appreciating the stories. We were able to tailor the trip as we went, stopping for regular toilet breaks in quality roadhouses Mustafa knew. We even took the ferry over from Ecebat to Çanakkale, and our guide took us to a great traditional restaurant for lunch that we never would have found alone. We then visited numerous sites in the ANZAC cove area, hearing the full history of WW1 significance at each stop. After a long hot day, made more comfortable by endless complimentary water bottles in the fridge of the van, we headed back to Istanbul, arriving at our hotel at around 8.30pm. A fantastic day we will all never forget. This is a must do trip and highly valuable for Aussie travellers. Worth every cent! Lest we Forget. 🇦🇺

Well worth it - I would highly recommend this day trip to anyone with an interest in the history of Anzac Cove, WW1 Gallipoli, which is of particular interest as an Australian.
Our guide Ekram was very knowledgeable and informative and provided us with extra information and visuals to help us understand both sides of this story. We appreciated Ekram’s excellent English and his openness to accommodate us during the day.
We chose the private option which suited us as we felt we saved a lot of time compared to a big bus tour, so for us the $$ outlay was money well spent. We organised this tour very last minute and Guided Istanbul Tours were very quick to respond and made it easy for us to organise.
Our driver Secran did an excellent job and made it very easy for us.
Overall this was a long day but we are very happy that we organised the day with Guided Istanbul and in particular Ekram- who would be great for the day tours in Istanbul too.

Highly recommend… totally AMAZING! - I don’t know where to start, our guide was a man called Mustafa Dogan. There were 6 of us on the tour and we had the most AMAZING day - very long day!
The mini bus and driver… absolutely fabulous. Very comfortable for such a long day, wifi on board the bus, unlimited chilled water, very courteous driver, USB’s for charging and more importantly fabulous AIR CONDITIONER… because it was extremely hot.
The guide and tour - no words can describe how fantastic it was. Mustafa went absolutely over and beyond for us. Perfect English as he has spent a lot of his live in Australia and now lives in Turkey.
He gave us more than the itinerary.. took us on a ferry across the Dardanelles, took us to eat traditional food - ordering everything they had for us and super cheap.
Went to everywhere on the itinerary and it was amazing!
We could not recommend highly enough! We will never ever forget the experience - or Mustafa and his knowledge! Thank you thank you thank you

Private Gallipoli Tour - We took this private full day tour at the end of May. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Turkish history and experience during the Gallipoli campaign as well as the Anzacs. The transport was comfortable and driver very safe. It is a long day, we were picked up in Istanbul at 7.30 am, and returned at 5.30pm, however well worth it in our opinion. We liked having the personalised and flexible services of a private tour.

A lesson for today - It was certainly worth taking the private day tour to Gallipoliand the surrounding sites. Sercan was a great and knowledgeable guide.
I valued the flexibility of being alone and being able to say how long I wanted to spend somewhere.
Quite an emotional experience.
I highly recommend this tour and guide

Must do for Anzac Tourists - It was an incredibly moving and emotional experience and we were all thrilled to have been able to have the opportunity to share it. Our guide Ekrem was superb, knowledgeable and informative and the trip was made better with his humour and he looked after us well. The driver was awesome, dealing with some very gnarly city traffic to get us there and back safely. A very highly recommended trip for any Anzac tourist

A long emotional day. - This was a vey long day. We were picked up on time. Long drive out. Great guide very informative with good overview of Istanbul and the history of Turkey. Checked in regularly. Enough time to absorb the impact of Gallipoli at each site we visited. Quite thorough and emotionally draining. The only issue was lack of thought about lunch with no real time allowed.

Historical - Communications were excellent from start to finish, guide was friendly and informative and driver great, especially as he had such a long day in extreme heat. The drive out was amazing as you really saw more of Turkey than just the big, sprawling city of Istanbul. The landscape certainly changed and our guide was informative about the people, the land and sone history for context as we moved through the beautiful countryside.
The Gallipoli portion of our trip was great, our guide, Mustie, was great, loads of information and really helped set the scene for events that unfolded during WW1 and the loss of so many lives on both sides of the invasion.
One thing WE as a group felt didn’t need to be included, and WE didn’t add value to the trip, was the 2 hour detour via ferry across the river to see the Trojan horse and to have lunch. It was a rush! Lunch was a rush and there was nothing really to see as the horse was from a movie set. We had already suggested before we set off we thought maybe it wasn’t necessary but we were convinced by our guide it would be disappointing if we didn’t and the best place for lunch was there also.
After we got back to our ship we chatted to other passengers who’d been there and they had been taken to a museum which would have added so much more value to the experience. They were also taken to see the grave of Simpson and his donkey, said they had a lovely lunch in the small town of Eceabat. Eceabat is where the reenactment scenes from the war were, which was excellent! This gave you an incredible picture of how close the combatants were to each other and the brutality of the war effort.
The trip was supposed to be 8 till 8 but traffic coming back into Istanbul was horrendous! Could be Saturday night thing as there were so many people out enjoying themselves in parks etc. traffic we know can’t be controlled by the tour operator but if we’d have known we may have bought dinner for the ride back.
All in all a good day, but we would suggest, if you are taking this tour, not to be convinced to take the ferry ride across the river and back as it added nothing at all to the trip, and your time could be better spent at the museum we didn’t get to see, or one of the other cemeteries our other friends visited.
