Lovely experience - Special treat for my elderly mum who struggles with her mobility. Horses very friendly, beautiful carriages and a great staff team who were super. Lovely route down village lanes and country side with a stop mid way for a scrummy hot chocolate. Mum got her twinkle back and loved it. Thankyou ❤️

Something different and memorable - Booked this as a Mother's Day treat for my elderly parents. Very easy to book with a small deposit by BACS. When we arrived we were met and invited in to wait for our slot. Despite the English weather everyone was smiling and welcoming and they took my parents off for the 30 minute special tour round Skipwith Common/Escrick Estate. My sisters and I waited in the tea room for their return then they enjoyed afternoon tea (and despite my sisters and I not actually having booked we were given unlimited hot drinks and some extra sandwiches). Fantastic. A great experience present rather than the standard pub lunch - thank you!

Must do experience - A fabulous experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Gordon helped make our engagement proposal go smoothly and was an excellent photographer. Thanks to Arthur and Hercules for the horse power! Beautiful countryside and great location.

An amazing and unforgettable experience! - Had the most wonderful afternoon! I booked for my Mum's 70th birthday and her friends birthday -which was a week ago so made it a joint birthday celebration. We all really enjoyed the experience! Such friendly staff and a super cute horse (Ben)! The clip-clop of hooves created a soothing ambiance as we made our way down the tracks through the beautiful estate. We stopped for a hot drink half way through the journey and afterwards we were invited to stay for soup and bread rolls- there were also various teas, coffees etc.. We all felt really spoilt and absolutely loved every minute of being there! I highly recommended it for those seeking a unique, memorable and tranquil escape! I will be rebooking again :)

Fantastic experience! - This was a gift for my wedding anniversary and it was so lovely. We really enjoyed our ride round the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and stopped mid-way for a hot drink (hot chocolate with marshmallows!). Our horse was well mannered and professional and our driver was very welcoming and knowledgeable. We had the afternoon tea package and decided to have our picnic afterwards and we were shown some lovely spots to enjoy the picnic. I was so pleased with the food, i'm gluten free and expected mine to be a bit lacking but I had mini sandwiches and scones and all sorts! Very impressed with the effort gone to accommodating my food allergy. Thankyou for a great day - recommended to anyone wanting a romantic experience!

A Birthday Treat with a difference. - We were met by the Church in Skipwith by our Hosts and the very friendly Otto. Our trip around the estate at very sedate pace was a wonderful experience travelling through the small estate roads and forest tracks. Stopping for a cup of tea and scone with all the trimmings en-route. Thank you for a very pleasant experience and recommend it as an different way to spend an hour away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Nice novelty thing to do - Fabulous experience - we were 5 in our party including our grandson aged 5. I booked a Prosecco hamper and we had the Prosecco on the way round. The ride was lovely and Gordon was a great host. Clearly the horses and ponies were well loved which means a lot. The hamper was really nice and we had it after as a picnic. Hot drinks offered on the way round which was nice. Lovely novelty experience 😀

A peaceful hour, away from modern living. - Ben, TJ & Arthur were wonderful giving us a pleasant gentile ride through the estate. Gordon & Kate were not too bad either as the drivers. We took the grandchildren (8&6) on our way home from a week's holiday in Yorkshire and decided to use it as a break the journey. It was a lovely hour, quiet, peaceful and very comfy. The hot chocolate was a pleasant surprise and very tasty. As grandma said she did not mind paying the three figure price if it helped the rescue horses have a better life.

None event! - Very disappointed and let down. I booked this for a friend for her birthday, we were so excited as what more do you want.. horses and cakes?!! We arrived to be informed by text they had double booked us.. could we come back tomorrow… not possible due to work and it was a 70 odd mile round trip! Still had no contact from the company .. I understand mistakes are made but what terrible customer service! Birthday ruined!
