The session will start with crafting fresh, buttery scones from scratch. As they bake, participants will prepare traditional cucumber sandwiches and engage in conversations about the history and unique aspects of British teatime traditions. The afternoon will conclude with savoring the delicious creations over tea, accompanied by a slice of homemade cake.
Sharing and hosting food has always been a passion, and now, as a chef-in-training, the hope is that you will find this experience delightful.
This is a relaxed, interactive class — no baking experience is necessary!

A Fun Afternoon Making Scones With Olivia - We had a wonderful time learning how to make scones and cucumber sandwiches. Olivia is an excellent teacher, providing patient, clear instruction. And her warm personality made everyone comfortable from the outset. Students sit aligned at a breakfast bar as she distributes the ingredients and guides them in making the scone dough. Once assembled, Olivia places the scones on a baking sheet and pops them in the oven. As the scones bake, she guides the group in making cucumber sandwiches. Once the scones were done, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor with tea, lathering the scones with clotted cream and jam. The afternoon tea also enabled us to learn more about Olivia and the other guests. Highly recommended!

A memorable experience. - Olivia was professional, friendly and helpful with her introduction. Her instructions on our scone making were clear and easy to understand. I enjoyed meeting the others in the group and we concluded the session with afternoon tea and sandwiches and scones and friendly chatter. A memorable experience I recommend.

Everything went well and the food was delicious. Olivia is a gem. - My family of 8 had a delightful afternoon with Olivia in her beautiful home. We made scones and cucumber sandwiches and then had an afternoon tea where we ate our delicious items . Olivia was very well organized and very kind, funny and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this experience. It sure was a highlight of our London trip!

Authentic scone making - This was a lovely, authentic experience baking scones and then having afternoon tea. We meet nice people from other places and Olivia was a superb host. She shared all sorts of knowledge with us, making it a fun learning experience. After we arrived, we all received aprons and bowls in which to mix our ingredients. Olivia supervised us as we cut in cold butter (I never knew how to do that before), added the milk, and formed our scones. Then we made these lovely cucumber sandwiches to have with tea. We slathered clotted cream and jam on the scones and ate way too much! Highly recommend for an authentic experience!

Great afternoon making tea, scones, memories and friends! - This was a great class! Set in a cozy beautiful kitchen with a lovely and knowledgeable host. We made delicious scones, great memories and new friends. Learned about the history and tradition of scones and afternoon tea. This was a great highlight for our trip!

A Fantastic Traditional English Cooking Class. - We had a wonderful afternoon making delicious scones and cucumber sandwiches and the tea party afterwards.
Olivia is a great teacher taught us not only cooking also the history of afternoon tea in friendly and relaxed manner. The scones I took back were so good, they vanished in the evening. Also, gave us good advice about gourmet spots in London. We highly recommend the class for the tourists and locals.
