- 603 Scott St W - Our Yellowstone whitewater rafting trip is a fun, wide, high-volume river that features rolling wave rapids. Rapids vary in size depending on water levels. Families love it! The Yellowstone white water rafting trip is great for children ages 6 and up. Spectacular views may include spotting wildlife such as river otters and bald eagles.
The Yellowstone River office is located in Gardiner at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National park, just minutes from Mammoth Hot Springs. We are located on Main Street (Scott Street) on a riverfront property within walking distance from lodging and campgrounds in central Gardiner. You can even see some of the rapids from our backyard!

Starting from the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park, where the Gardiner River meets the powerful Yellowstone River, our Half Day Paradise trip promises an exciting adventure for the family! Experience thrilling rapids like Man-Eater Hole, Boonie’s Revenge, and Sleeping Giant. Unwind and enjoy the stunning panoramic scenery of Devil’s Slide. Drift along some calm water sections that offer opportunities for swimming or simply chill out. This journey is ideal for rafting newcomers or family groups with varying ages and abilities. This adventure takes you on an 8-mile round trip on the river that could last around 3 hours, depending on the water levels (CFS).

Kids loved the 8 mile rafting trip! - Great experience! Its an 8 mile rafting trip with 2-3 class 3 rapids. Staff is great and launch in and take out points are not that far from the office. Kids loved the experience. Water is super cold in June so we had to gear up. All in all a good experience. We had Cam as our guide, he is a super cool guy!

Great adventure and very refreshing - Amazing views and fun on the water. Water was cold and flowing pretty fast. Overall an awesome experience for the family. Frank was awesome and made the trip great while keeping us in the boat except for our planned swim.

Fun experience and lived to tell the story - It was a spontaneous thing that I got my family into while traveling out of Yellowstone National Park. The person at the front desk was polite, quick and understanding- not pushy, I was convinced in 5 minutes that we were going to do this and then we had a great guide in Frank who gave us a thorough rundown with rules, pretty scary but he knew what he was doing and trusting him was easy . He kept it fun and simple. A big shout out to Abby, the co- guide who did all the heavy lifting.

What an amazing experience - The entire staff was super friendly and helpful! It was cool seeing Abby do her guide test and do very well!
Sanna (I can’t remember how to spell her name) was our guide and she was awesome! We hit all the waves at the right time to get wet and have a great experience! Her stories and jokes were super funny! We had the best time and look forward to white water rafting again! Happy birthday again!

First Cold Water Rafting - I had been whitewater rafting in the past but in much warmer climate so I was very concerned about the temperature of the water. However, with the wet suite, fleece jacket, wind breaker, and life vest, I was just fine. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to feel my hands but I didn't get that cold. It was SO worth the trip. Our guides Jordan and Elijah were FANTASTIC! I believe with them we could have handled class 4 rapids but there were none on this stretch of the Yellowstone. GREAT TRIP!! So glad I went!!!

Best whitewater ever! - We have been on several rafting trips, this was by far the best. Our guide Frank was awesome. Our 10 year old granddaughter rode the Bull (on front of the raft legs over the edge) even my preteen granddaughter enjoyed it. If it was up to them we would have river rafted every day. Great trip!

Great time whitewater rafting - We went on the whitewater rafting 2 hour trip in Gardiner and it was a great experience. Jason was our guide and he was so knowledgable and friendly. My kids loved talking to him about all the wildlife in the area. It was the perfect amount of time. So glad we scheduled this.

Amazing trip! - We had a great time on this trip, and we were almost all beginners. We had kids that were terrified, and our guide, Sam, put us at ease and took great care of us. The ride was so fun, the scenery was gorgeous, and Sam was a lot of fun with a lot of great information to share about the river. The kids felt safe and had a great time, and so did the adults!
