- The Park At Ocean Ranch - You will be picked up at your hotel for a short ride to Ocean Ranch Park. You are greeted by professional guides who saddle you up on a Costa Rican stepping horse for the 1.5 hour ride through the jungle and river to the 180 foot waterfall called “El Encanto”. Along the way you will see white faced monkeys, toucan and macaw in their natural habitat while enjoying the cool shade of the jungle. Giant trees and beautiful flowers adorne the landscape all the way to the Rancho where you can kick off your shoes and have a slice of pineapple and a cool drink while enjoying the Jurassic Park like setting.

Great time! - Our tour was great! We saw lots of cool butterflies, some iguanas, a snake, toucan, and a monkey. It was an 8am tour so the heat wasn’t unbearable. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The waterfall was also beautiful.

Lovely Rainforest ride - Easy to book. The staff received us on arrival, they were very friendly and catered to our needs. It was my 7 year old first time riding a horse and they managed to put him at ease and he was able to ride confidently on his own the whole time.
It was lovely chatting with our guides about Costa Rica and the flora and fauna of the park. they pointed out lots of animals and plants and made the whole experience wonderful.

Fantastic experience!! - Our horseback ride with Jesus was one of the highlights of our time in Honduras! Jesus was not only knowledgeable, but enthusiastic and considerate. He pointed out much wildlife along the way as we rode along the beautiful property. We got great communication from the company, and would definitely go with them again! Highly recommend!

Great First Time Horseback Riding Experience - Good staff, well-mannered horses. Easy ride through some parts of the rainforest. They seemed to take care of the horses well and even rescued another horse from a different tour company because it wasn't treated properly.

I loved Costa Rica,but would go with another horse riding tour in the future. - Disappointed. Horses were thin, hooves overdue for a trim, my horse was lame. I am an experienced horse owner,trainer,and rider. The ride was mostly along a dry river and a field, to a small waterfall. I was sad more than pleased. Only positive thing was one guide who was working on his English and conversed alot with me to work on improving it.

Now awful but not amazing. - This wasn’t awful, but wasn’t great. Domi (not sure how to spell) the translator that rode with us was amazing. The horses seemed very thin and saw a few with no saddles and their backs seemed permanently bowed from overuse. The ride was ok. We saw nothing to note except an ant hill that was pointed out to us. The waterfall was not what I was expecting. Small and the pool beneath was a little gross. Not going to go in for a cool off. Overall, it was a slow horse ride through the woods. Pretty, but not overly exciting.

Not worth it - I wouldn’t recommend this tour. We enjoyed ourselves but it’s not worth the cost. Our tour guide was far ahead of our horses and we didn’t get a lot of information. We didn’t see many animals and it was more of a forest. We also didn’t receive fruit or drinks at the end.
