Dream come true - Well what can I say,I have had a reoccurring dream dream since watching jaws with my dad 50 years ago and had the dream about 60 time last being 4 weeks ago,I told my wife and she said go get it out of your system face your fear.with that I did and had numerous conversations with Renee, I arranged to fly to cape town and the day after I arrived,they collected me at 4am and travelled to gannsbai where I met all the crew and a very nice lady Harbour Master and her dog,we had breakfast,then we had a full safety brief wif Keith,and then it was time,boat was fantastic this we boarded and then we were put in the water,a 20 minute ride to a lovely calming point by shark alley,as we put on our suits the cage was put in the water and our chief brody ha started chumming the water,within minutes there was 8 bronze whalers or copper heads ranging up to 3.5 meters in length amazing and this was whilst still on the boat,I was doing the hookah method which was I had a regulator in my mouth this meant I could stay under the water fir full duration without having to come up for air,the sharks were inches away bumping us with there snouts and tails,what a adrenaline rush,after my dive I got the feeling I had to do it again and booked for following day to see these awsome creatures in their own environment,white shark team are very informative and really do care about the wellbeing of all animals in the underwater environment,there was marine biologists and students writing down all info of what they see,the was a lovely young girl Ellie who to underwater video and its well worth the few pounds she was charging,I cannot rate this company and all that made this 2 days the most memorable days of my life that is of course after marriage and the birth of my son,Thank you everyone and I will be back in January 2026 with my son.you are all amazing 👏

A professional chilled trip - What a great experience. Very thorough and honest briefing. Not too many people on the boat. Really friendly stag and the food was good too. Chilled trip with beautiful animals.

My Best Dive Experience Yet - My experience with White Shark Diving Co. was outstanding. I’ve dived all over the world, and they were by far the best I’ve encountered. The crew was exceptionally professional, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. I felt safe, informed, and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

Exemplary tour with fantastic sea life and staff. - What a great experience. The staff and crew were so knowledgeable and informative. We got a nice breakfast and delicious lunch. I was disappointed to learn that the great white sharks were not in the area anymore because of a lot of things but we did see several copper sharks, the largest species of sting ray and a sea lion that hung around. I highly recommend this tour company. They are doing great research on the sea animals in the area and provide a great service to customers. We were also able to buy a video of our trip at the end of the tour.

Bucket list experience - What an unbelievable experience. The staff were excellent, they were friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. We were picked up in a comfortable mini bus from our hotel. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles, conversation and breakfast. The location was breathtaking. Paradise. We were given a safety talk and set out on the boat. We were extremely lucky to see the Alaskan Skewer flying alongside us. We got to see sharks, sting rays and seals. The cage diving experience was amazing and something I will remember for the rest of my life. When we returned to shore we had a lovely hot meal waiting for us before heading back to the hotel. This would be extremely great value at double the price. Thank you to all the team, I cannot recommend you guys highly enough!

Wonderful journey - This was a wonderful journey, the staff professionally explained, heartfelt sharing has greatly improved my knowledge of sharks, before departure, will explain to us the safe operation, breakfast, lunch provided! If I visit South Africa to see sharks next time, I will definitely choose this company again

Shark Cage Hookah Dive - Great experience with a knowledgable crew and solid gear. Saw bronze whaler sharks, penguins, and a seal! Would recommend.

Change the name of this place. - The first thing I suggest would be change the name of the business until White sharks are back in the area. I paid for the hookah dive and realized after the shark dive it was never offered to anyone to do, although we discussed during the brief before the dive. The water is very cold, you have to understand this before selecting the dive. I was with people who were shivering while attempting to dive with the sharks. The wind was terrible on the water. The crew was pretty good although one of the marine biologists kept telling folks the longer they were in the water the better they would feel in the wetsuit. That is not the truth at all. The water was freezing my feet and others expressed the same sentiment. The crew chummed and chummed and after a few hours we finally saw our first shark. There were other boats who appeared to find some sharks. There crew personnel discussed that the sharks have their own minds do not always cooperate, which I understand, but the other boats around us seemed more successful for finding them. Now the ocean didn’t give much as far as how clear the water was, which definitely was not the crews fault. It was pretty expensive day to just see 3 sharks and and a seal. Just a suggestion, no need for a debrief after excursion to try to sell a video of the dive. People that didn’t need a transport back to the hotel just left. I know they want to sell a video, but to call it a debrief of what we just experience was not necessary in my opinion. Again most of staff very professional and that’s why I gave them a three star evaluation.

Very disappointed - Unfortunately we had a really disappointing experience which led to us not travelling with this company. I contacted them 2 months before our trip about the best opportunity to see great whites. We were in regular contact about sightings and other information, at no point was the possibility of a trip cancellation due to low numbers (not enough profit) ever mentioned. I understand that sometimes trips can't run due to weather conditions or other reasons but low occupancy was never mentioned. We booked our entire trip around our shark experience, including hotels, other activity bookings and car hire. We were in contact in the run up to our date, again no mention of low occupancy or the trip not going ahead. Less than 24 hours before our trip we were contacted to say that there were only 4 people booked and a minimum of 6 was required. This left no time for us to change our arrangements or to book anything with another company. We were offered another location with White Shark Divers but I'd totally lost faith in them by this point. I'd avoid this company, their lack of transparency and honesty in communication has left a really sour taste to an otherwise amazing trip to Capetown.
