The Irish Dance Experience enables you to try Irish dancing in a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive setting. Join us solo or with friends, and move your feet alongside aspiring dancers. We are expert dancers who have all performed on the Riverdance stage.
At the Irish Dance Experience, we’ll guide you to discover the beat of Galway as you twirl, shuffle, and stomp your way across the dance floor.

Highly Recommended when in Galway! - I am so grateful that I found the Irish Dance Experience while visiting Galway. We participated in 2023 and now I am bringing a group back this year in 2024 for a class. Siobhán is not only an amazing, talented dancer, she is kind and patient teacher and makes this very unique experience so much fun. Recommended for all ages and you leave feeling in great spirits. She runs an excellent program!

Very cool experience - Our teacher Siobhan, is really nice and cool. In 1:30 we’ve learned 3 types of Irish dances, not too difficult and easy to do again at home. She also shared us 2 videos she made during the course, that we will be able to see at home, so we are able to rehearse! 😀👌🏻☘️

Lots of fun! - My husband and I (not dancers!) really enjoyed learning a few Irish dances from a 15 year veteran of Riverdance. She was very friendly and was a good teacher. A wonderful way to take a bit of Ireland home!

A fun morning of Irish dance in the Claddagh Hall - The three of us ( incl a 16 year old) had such an enjoyable time with ex Riverdancer Siobhán at the Irish Dance Experience.
She taught our group of 18 three dances - and made it easy and fun for us all… lots of laughter …
You can proceed at your own pace … Just great fun..

Made my Irish dancing debut in Galway! - Amazing! Siobhan was very kind and went out of her way to make sure I could make it to the course after last-minute difficulties. I had so much fun learning the dances: a highlight of the trip!

AMAZING - I loved the experienced! The teachers were super nice with us. We were practicing three different Irish dances and learnt few steps. It was very fun! I wish they had more experiences like this one :)

Must do in Galway! - This is so much fun! I've taken three groups of young adults to Siobhan over the last year and there has been so much laughter and fun and everyone has always loved it. Siobhan is a great teacher and they all leave with new dancing skills to show off to their friends. I couldn't recommend this enough!

Don't leave Ireland without taking this lesson!!!! - We had an amazing experience - I strongly recommend this activity. First, the group of students in our particular class included people of all ages and genders. You do not need a partner. Second, the instructor, Siobhan, was fantastic! She gave clear instructions, taught us fun dances, exhibited tremendous patience :) , and was friendly and fun. Don't worry if you don't know how to dance! Take this class just for the experience. When else and where else in your life are you going to get a lesson in Irish dancing???
