• St. Columbas Credit Union - Meet your guide in Eyre Square. Where they will introduce you to the history of Galway and Ireland the using the monuments and memorials in the Square to tell the story of the founding of Galway, Irish language and emigration. Then we head to the first of 3 venues, the first venue is a modern and contemporary bar, there you can relax with a Gin & Tonic and some food. This venue is located just off Eyre Square. Then we will head down the bustling streets where the streetscape has remained the same for centuries. The tour lasts 2 hours approx. with 12 people being the maximum number on the tour. - Forster Street - We stay close to Eyre Square, just around the corner for our second venue, which is a modern and contemporary bar, there you can relax with a cocktail made with their own exclusively distilled house gin. The venue is located across the street from an 18th century church. Then we will head down the bustling streets where the streetscape has remained the same for centuries. - The Browne Doorway - Doorway of the tower house belonging to one of original merchant families of Galway. - Lynch’s Castle - Only fully intact tower house belonging to the Lynch family, one of Galways most powerful old merchant families - **Middle Street** - We leave the main street and walk down Buttermilk Lane onto Middle Street. Passing 2 other historical buildings in the city. - **Saint Nicholas' Collegiate Church** - This church dates back to the 14th century and still in use today, famous visitors include Christopher Columbus. Located beside Galways famous market. - Galway Market - Galway’s famous city market has been in existence for many centuries and takes place on Saturday mornings. - An Taibhdhearc - Irelands first Irish/Gaelic speaking theatre founded in late 1920s. - **Saint Augustine Street** - Our second venue is a local family run business, just off the main street located in the shadow of a church build in the mid 1800s. Here we will enjoy excellent Irish produced cheeses with meats, breads and a glass of wine. - **St. Augustine's Church** - This is one of 3 Catholic churches built from the 1850s in Galway city. - Eyre Square - We will pass through Eyre Square on our way to our final venue, pass the banners of the Tribal families of Galway. this venue is one of oldest and favorite pubs in the city. Where you will enjoy some local craft beers including their own house beer in one of the bars many snugs.

The first stop is a short stroll from Eyre Square, at a modern contemporary bar. Here, guests can enjoy a Gin & Tonic crafted from the bar’s exclusive gin, along with food, and explore their impressive collection of over 530 gins.

The next destination is a charming, family-run business located just off the main street, nestled in the shadow of a church built in the mid-1800s. Visitors will savor a selection of Irish-made cheeses, meats, and breads paired with a glass of wine, while learning about Galway’s historical ties to the global wine trade.

The final stop is one of Galway’s oldest and most beloved pubs, situated right on Eyre Square. Guests will discover the intriguing history of this protected building before relaxing in one of the bar’s cozy snugs to sample Irish craft beers from local breweries, including their own house beer, or enjoy an Irish whiskey flight.

The tour lasts approximately over 2 hours and accommodates a maximum of 12 people.
