Great experience on the bay - We had a great time on this tour. Even though we’ve been to Galveston many times to visit family, we learned new information and had an enjoyable time. The only slight difficulty was finding where to meet - the address on the app was very close to but not quite where we needed to meet.. But a quick phone call and Rick was able to clear that up and get us where we needed to be. Once we were at the starting point, we were helped onto the boat and given a safety briefing and told what to expect. Then we were on our way! Along the tour we saw a lot of different parts of the island and Rick told us the history of each. There were some funny stories, some ghost stories, and a lot of history. There was a great view the whole time. If you go in December, dress for warmth. It’s colder than you might think, and our extra layers kept us warm the whole time. I’d recommend this to anyone with the time and who wants to get a different view of the island than they can get from their car. This size boat was great for getting right up next to the Selma if you’ve ever wanted a closer experience than the ferry We saw so many dolphins, cruise ships, white and gray pelicans, the ss Texas, etc.
