Beautiful Homes, Fascinating Stories, and a Ride to Remember! - The Galveston Gilded Age Architecture Tour in a Model T was absolutely unforgettable! Cruising through town in such a unique vintage car made the experience feel like stepping back in time, and the historic homes we saw were simply breathtaking. From the ornate mansions of the Gilded Age to the whimsical tree sculptures carved after Hurricane Ike, every stop had a story to tell.
Our guide, Gin, was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating details that brought Galveston’s history to life. She struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining, and the two hours truly flew by.
If you want to see Galveston in a way that’s both fun and deeply meaningful, this tour is a must. It’s a blend of architecture, art, and history that you won’t forget.

best way to see all the historical buildings! Save your feet and cover more ground. - Despite decades of touring Galveston, we all four enjoyed this tour. We learned a lot on this tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. You don’t go inside the properties, but you can really get a good view and learn a lot about Galveston & the area.

A Great Tour for History Buffs - Fantastic tour, the guide was extremely knowledgeable of the local history, and clearly very passionately about it. Very informative and engaging, it was a lot of fun. The "Model T" golf carts used for the tour are a great touch as well. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about the history of Galveston through architecture, but the tour really touches on so much more than just the architecture.
This tour inspired us to go see inside the local mansions turned museums, and it provided great context for the info we learned in those. We will definitely be seeking out her other tours on the island (ghost, mob, red-light district, etc) when we come back!

Zooming through history - Gin (sp?) was our guide. She was knowledgeable, spunky, friendly and passionate. My parents have mobility issues and this was perfect for them. We saw the beautiful architecture in an electric model T replica with an awesome clown horn. She was gracious enough to drop us off at the Strabd after which was a great help for my dad. She does mob and spooky tours too. Will need to try that next time.

Great experience for appreciation of architecture - It was great getting to tour the city in the golf cart, kept us nice and cool with the breeze. The tour guide Jen was very friendly and knew a lot about the Clayton houses all over the island. We saw so many beautiful houses we may never have found on our own.

Outstanding Tour of Galveston’s Historical Sites - This tour was amazing. Gin is the absolute best tour guide! We were so lucky to have her for a guide on Mother’s Day. We rode around in comfort in the lovely Model-T replica vehicle as Gin showed us all the beautiful homes and historical buildings, sites and gardens of Galveston. What a special event! We highly recommend this 2-hour tour, and especially we enjoyed listening to Gin as she is extremely knowledgeable and fun. We will be back for more of her tours.

Fun tour - This was a fun and informative tour! Jen knows her stuff, she was super friendly and eager to share Galveston’s history with us. The houses are beautiful. The only negative is the ride is quite bumpy and if you are prone to motion sickness it might be a little rough. I definitely recommend it though!

Fun but bumpy tour! - Bring cushions for the ride. It’s bumpy and gets painful after a while. Other than that it was a great tour. Our guide was animated, funny and very informative.
